Me and a colleague came here for dinner during our work trip to Raleigh. I haven’t had truly authentic Mexican food since moving from the San Francisco Bay Area a few years ago, and this brought me right back. The entire staff were very friendly and welcoming. But the food….wow....Fresh, flavorful, and delicious. My colleague normally hates eating out because he’s extremely picky, and even HE was complimenting them non stop the entire walk back to the hotel and ranting why we found this gem on our last night and not three nights earlier. Last but not least the price.....Night before we made a quick run to subway 2 blocks away. Had 2 subs, each with a drink and side came to $37.00 We had 2 full meals here, Veggie Fajitas and combination plate (1 enchilada, 1 burrito and 1 chile releno) got some chips and amazing salsa to start and paid $25 plus tip. This should be a no brainer. This place is an absolute GEM! Thank you and we will be back.

We ordered for pick-up. I ordered the Quesadilla Fajita Steak with Rice/Salad (1 star less regarding the salad, it could use some help you can see I didn'treally touch it..) and my hubby had the Quesadilla Texana. Besided the salad everything else was delicious 😋 I think we found our new local spot. Oh lets not forget that they also have very reasonable prices with nice size portions. I am looking forward to my next meal with them to try a different dish since these were so good. Thank you 😊 for an excellent dinner. Sorry I missed the start of the plate, I promise the Quesadilla took half of the dish with a quarter of rice and quarter of salad. Oh also my hubby's Texana was HUGE!!!! plus they provided with our order warm Chips & Salsa... 😁

This is a very good “traditional American style”Mexican restaurant. I frame it like that because the menu items and offerings like combos etc… are what you see at most Mexican restaurants like this one. The food is outstanding. Comparing to other similar restaurants this is the best I have had. The service is good. This restaurant has been in business and in the same building for a very long time. The lunch prices are very cheap. This is a must try if you are visiting or live in the area.

For starters, where the place is located, lets just say I had to look around first because its in an abandoned shopping center! Once we walked in, the lady at the cashier said "busquen donde sentarse" other words, find where to sit yourself. (We were fine till that point)

The wait was ok, you could really tell he didn't want to be there though. I ordered a Margarita and drank half of it until I noticed there were flies in some pieces of ice. Fly's and Mosquito's and other weird looking bugs...gross!

I didn't say anything until I looked up, (once I noticed that I knew I should've went with my gut feeling, and started looking around) there were bugs crawling out of the frames on the wall, not to mention the dust!

I'm NOT a picky person, whatsoever with where I eat. Keep in mind I didnt tell anyone about the bugs in the ice...I just dont like to make a big deal out of things!

This place is gross and I'll never come back! We eat out very often but this is one place that lost my business for good! I don't know how it has so many good reviews on here...i really don't! It may be because those...

I ordered from El Dorado and had my order delivered via Grub Hub. I received my order and it was incorrect. There were several items missing from my order. I called El Dorado and was left on hold for several minutes before being hung up on. I tried to call back, but kept getting the busy signal. I went to the restaurant to resolve the issue with my order and was met at the front desk by a lady who insisted she had placed all my items in my bag and that it was not their fault, but the driver—which I get, but that is more of an issue between Grub Hub and El Dorado—than it is with me. The lady went to the back and came back with the rest of my order and shoved it in my hands. No apology for the inconvenience of having to drive to their restaurant to resolve it after having paid a delivery fee and being hung up on. The food was decent, but the customer...
