Worst experience ever. I went into this place today at 7 a.m and ordered a beverage with soy. Instead I got whole milk and ended up getting sick about an hour later. Called and spoke w/store manager Desera/Desiri not sure how to spell her name, she asked me why did i drink the whole thing knowing it had whole milk in it because soy and whole milk have a different consistency. I tried to explain to her that it's so sweet that you cannot tell. She goes on to say well did you know the whip cream and Java chips have whole milk in them. I stated yes but that little bit of whip cream and the chips doesn't upset my stomach but a whole cup of whole milk does. She says who's to say those two things didn't upset your stomach. I told her I know my stomach and I wanted my money back. She said no but can offer me a gift card. I said this is the second time your store has done this to me and I was finished arguing with her and will be calling corporate. She says that will not do any good because it will come back to her. I called anyway and they will be sending me my money back and I will never go there again. I was going to Starbucks everyday last year, not this one and decided to slow down. I have never had a problem with the one on Six Forks which, is so much better than any other store I have ever been to. This one on Capital SUCKS and will never return. All their employees are so nice except the store manger and she can...
Read moreNobody at this store knows how to properly prepare a flat white latte!
My drink costs $9.50 (venti, 3 additional shots, breve) and I think when I'm spending that kind of money on a specialized latte, it ought to be special, but it's not at this store. A few times, I've received a "flat white" cappuccino, instead. The flat white is a particular latte with ristreto shots instead of regular or long "pulls." What makes the flat white unique is its signature smooth foam on top with a white circle in the middle. And nobody at this store has properly prepared that drink even once! How can I be sure I'm actually getting a "flat white" if there's no signature smooth foam or white circle?
I've ordered it on many occasions, and what I get, instead of the special white circle in the middle, is a classically prepared latte. This isn't what the menu calls for. When I pointed this out to the store manager, he commented that a flat white was a latte, right, and I had received a latte, right? (Who could argue with that logic, except that's not what the pictures show!)
After more than 10 visits without once getting a properly prepared flat white, I've had it with this Starbucks, and will take my business elsewhere.
My son likes the Dragon Refresher, and they do correctly prepare that drink here. If not for that, I would have given this...
Read moreHad a very unprofessional and rude customer service experience with a employee name Lee. I’ve never had such an unpleasant experience at Starbucks before. I witnessed this employee remake the customer drink in front of me over immediately after she stated it was wrong. Then when my drink order was wrong she purposely started making other drinks I had to ask when will my drink be remade. Her response was very rude with “I’m about to remake it” while I’m speaking she’s talking over me repeating this. When she finally handed me the drink she had an attitude. Mind you the drink order was made wrong because another employee didn’t take the order correctly and forgot to place what I ordered on the ticket. I called the establishment early the next morning to speak with the manager Deborah to explain the situation. She basically made excuses for the employee behavior and laid blame on that they were busy and have a sequence to making drinks. She didn’t address anything related to the rude customer service I received. She tried to offer a free drink to smooth things over I decline and told her I won’t be revisiting this establishment again. I strongly wouldn’t recommend this Starbucks if you want a...
