The Veranda Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach

It’s been 3 days ordering from here, when we sit down for breakfast the waitress is amazing! When we order to go the bartenders don’t want to be bothered. Today I had the worst experience with the bartender Leanna, she’s very rude! We were eating breakfast and she seemed to have been annoyed by our kids, our two and three year old. Kept looking over making faces and making me very uncomfortable, no one else seemed to be bothered but her. We came back for lunch after the beach and decided to just order quick to go bc I saw she was there and felt uncomfortable eating there , as we were ordering she just kept giving us this passive aggressive attitude bc again the kids were being kids and she was acting like she couldn’t hear us, gave us a hard time about not being able to get plain noodles for the kids when we had no issues yesterday. She’s terrible! She should not be working in a setting where kids are around bc she’s visibly annoyed by them. I hope she’s not there for dinner but I wil not order there or spend money with that restaurant that’s how bad of an impression...

Ate here frequently while staying in the hotel. The food varies in quality but you can’t beat the convenience and prices. The wings were just wings, hard fried with buffalo and ranch. Nothing special. The smash burger had potential but was comically dry. The cheese steak was good and meaty.

Servers you can’t understand & they can’t understand you, happy hour special on foods gone, bartenders complaining about management.
