Let me say that there are some very kind people at this hotel who truly care about you, your family, and your hard-earned money and because of them I will continue to stay at Hilton. I do however want to warn people against the salesperson there named Harris. We were scheduled to stay here, but our sons football tournament got canceled and in dealing with the hotel to get our stay canceled I had the worst experience I have ever had with an individual worker at a hotel, and we travel a lot. Harris was completely disrespectful, snarky, and just a downright mean-spirited human being to deal with. Harris "the salesperson" even hung up on me when he called me back to tell me that he would not be giving my family a refund. After I told him that I was able to get a refund for my stay, he hung up on me in the middle of my sentence, before I could say to him all I had to do was call someone else other than him and they gave me the refund with no issues at all and they did so with kindness, understanding and empathy all qualities Harris lacks. Weird that he couldn't do the same, he said that it came straight from his general manager "which I had to argue with him to even get him to ask her “hence the return phone call to happily tell me that he wouldn’t be giving us a refund. It honestly was almost like he thought he was teaching me a lesson and then got upset when it didn’t work out how he wanted it to. It clearly made him mad that I was able to get the help he absolutely refused to give. When I say refuse, I mean refused. If you ever stay here, make sure you check their policy before you book and whatever you do don't deal with Harris the...
Read moreBeing a Hilton Honors member for years I've stayed in plenty different hotels locations. I always call ahead of time to ensure about any questions before booking. We called yesterday to ask about breakfast and pool hours, was told yesterday there was conventional breakfast and pool closed at 10pm. We got here kinda late, the room seemed clean so we hurry and took off to the pool. Also keep in mind pool capacity is only 12 people so that'll tell you just how big the pool is, only got about 10 chairs in there to sit. 🫤Got back to the room, cleaned up and I noticed the room was not as clean as it looked. There was dirty clothes from prior people in the rolling drawers. I didn't touch them and honestly at 11pm at night I was not going to uproot everything to another room but that's really not okay Hilton! So woke up next morning excited about breakfast, because who doesn't like a conventional breakfast when on vacation? We'll we walk down get there and the host ask if we'll be ordering off the menu or want the buffet? I was confused, conventional free breakfast which I've had plenty of times they greet you and ask if there's anything they could help with. I told her buffet not knowing what she meant, to only be told it was $15 a person?😡 I mentioned I wanted to look at what they had, kiddie pancakes, no eggs, potatoes, looking under cooked sausage and of course danishs and waffles a hard pass for me! I'd rather go get breakfast at McDonald's..You've got to be better Hilton, very disappointed and definitely will not be returning to...
Read moreThe Hilton Garden Inn Rio Rancho offers a conveniently located and welcoming stay, particularly well-suited for business travelers. Situated with easy access to major grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and fast-food options, its location makes daily logistics smooth and stress-free.
The staff at this property stands out for their consistently warm hospitality. Every interaction is met with a friendly greeting, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere throughout the hotel. Special recognition goes to Ian and McKenna, whose attentiveness and professionalism were especially memorable.
Housekeeping services are excellent—efficient, thorough, and respectful of guest space, ensuring rooms are kept in top condition without intrusion.
The parking lot is notably spacious compared to other Hilton properties in the area, which is a practical advantage, particularly for guests arriving with larger vehicles or those who prefer ample parking.
While breakfast is available on-site, I’ve chosen to forgo it on recent visits due to a personal preference for non-American breakfast options. However, past experiences with the breakfast service have been positive.
Overall, the Hilton Garden Inn Rio Rancho provides a reliable, clean, and friendly environment, making it a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers...
