Wow! What an amazing bachelorette I had at this resort. Everything was top notch. The food is amazing, the drinks are phenomenal, the customer service couldn’t be any better, and it is so incredibly clean and well kept. BEACH The beach is nice. The only thing that stinks, which they have no control over, is the drop getting to the water. It will not be easy for someone with disabilities, or someone with limited mobility, to get down and then back up. They have beach servers so you never have to move a muscle. Keep in mind also, that they only allow for 4 beach chairs per room, which in our case was frustrating because we were a party of 5. We were able to get the 5th chair but it wasn’t the most pleasant experience. They want to charge you $40 for any additional chairs. POOLS They have 2. An infinity pool which is quite relaxing, and another pool that has a big water slide. It isn’t mandatory but most of the families with children would go to the slide one and the adults with no children would go to the infinity. I have a 8.5 year old son, and was vacationing without him, so I really enjoyed the peace at the infinity pool. The hot-tub is amazing too. They have poolside service as well so you don’t have to go inside or down to the tiki bar for food and drinks. FOOD (Do yourself a favor and ask for Raul as your server!) Delish! We ate breakfast here every morning and it’s all so well done. Lunch was also amazing. My favorite is the Nashville chicken sandwich. So good. You can tell they take pride in the food they are serving you. A bit pricey, for example, I believe an avocado toast was $16.00. It’s just so good though that in my opinion, it is absolutely worth it. PLUS, you are on vacation! Splurge if you can! DRINKS Again, superb! The bar tenders are all so nice. Kenya and Chelsea were so friendly and down to earth. We really enjoyed conversing and spending our nights at the hotel bar with them. The lychee martini is so good. All of the drinks they make are great. The espresso martini was another favorite. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE We loved every person that we came in contact with during our stay. As stated before, Raul, Kenya, Chelsea, all excellent. Raj at the front desk was very accommodating and was able to get us into a brand new suite on the 18th floor. We flew in early but he got us right into our room. There were many other amazing staff but they were quick interactions and I wasn’t able to catch their name. Jan, the chair woman, she is friendly but takes her job very seriously with the beach and chairs. She got frustrated with us due to the 5 in the party situation and was being resistant to give us a lounger, rather than a regular folding seat. She eventually did, just was a little frustrating. You are spending a lot of money to stay and eat and drink, the $40 charge, in my opinion is a bit of a nickel and diming situation. The resort has a few water stations with ice cold, fresh fruit infused water. Lovely added touch. OVERALL My fiancé and I are big travelers. This was hands down the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had at a resort. I will most definitely be back in the future. I booked through JetBlue vacations and with hotel and round trip airfare for 5, it was under 3000 for 3 nights. That was with travel insurance as well. If you choose to stay here, which you should, you will have an amazing time! Thursday and Friday were very quiet and peaceful. If you can travel during the week, do it. It does get busier on the weekends, but it is still enjoyable. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay! I hope to see you in the future!

What a horrible experience for this hotel. If I could give it 0 stars I would. We went for a long weekend and spent over $500 a night for this hotel. Checked in on Friday 5/9 and they force you to valet your car. There is no regular parking. Spent the whole weekend there. On Sat 5/10 in the morning, we went out for a few hours. Walked around my car and no issues with the car. Dropped it off at around 12-12:30 and again walked around car and no issues. Went to check out on Sun 5/11 which was also Mother's Day. Valet was very busy because of people checking out and Sunday brunch at the hotel restaurant. It was a big rush of people and valet was flying around. We even laughed with our friends saying the valets were driving around like the ones from Ferris Bueller. We quickly said goodbye to our friends who met with us that weekend and didn't have a chance to look at the car due to the chaos. A few hours later, we stopped for gas and I saw a huge dent on the driver side back seat door. I immediately called the hotel who proceeds to tell me it was the valets problem and not theirs since valet is an outside company. Called valet company and at first they told I had to come back to make a claim, I advised them that we live over 3 hours away and were already 2 hours from there and this was not possible. Asked to speak with manager. Manager said he would take the info and investigate but not much he could since I left the property. I asked them to pull security footage of Sat dropping off and Sun picking up and they will see no damage on Sat and damage on Sun done by the valet. He called back couple hours later. He did not review the footage. they claim they have a penciled in piece of paper written down by valet that there was damage on the car upon receipt on Friday. I again advised them there was no damage to my car on Friday and no damage upon dropping it off to them on Sat. I asked them again to review the tapes to verify. They then put in a claim to their insurance adjuster. The adjuster took two days to even get back to me to tell me she would investigate and ask the hotel for the tapes. I tried speaking with hotel manager during those two days in limbo waiting to hear from the claims adjuster but he told me again it wasn't the hotels problem because valet is an outside vendor. Then after three days after finally speaking with adjuster, get automated email from them stating that since I left the property then cannot cover the claim. This is ridiculous and just a case of someone who doesn't want to take responsibility. The tapes were never reviewed and I was automatically denied because I left the property. I am only asking for the hotel and valet to do the right thing. You damaged my car with a significant dent while in your possession and they just say sorry you should have looked at your car. I am not a person who writes bad reviews but this is one of the worst experiences I have had dealing with a hotel and valet for anything. You damaged my car and you won't even take responsibility for it. I will make sure that I will tell people about my experience and make sure everyone knows that your hotel doesn't take care of their guests and especially not their cars.

My kids and I just arrived home after staying here and we agreed that our favorite thing about the week and what we would miss the most was the level of customer service and the people that we met while we were there. Hands down their favorite person that they would look forward to seeing every day and talking with was Christopher who I believe is the head of recreation. His customer service came naturally and from the beginning delivered impeccable customer service; we met him while he was with the valet and he let us know everything that was available for the kids: he said he’d be on the beach the next day and if we needed anything to let him know. My kids put him to the test the next day requesting shovels and buckets and as promised he delivered and followed through with a smile and conversation that made them feel important. One evening I knew he was very busy getting ready for a big event and yet he took the time to speak with my kids; always with a smile. He manages to be task oriented and people oriented; a rare quality. (Definitely went above and beyond) Tristan was another smile we looked forward to seeing every day at 4:00 (free appetizers and drinks 4:00-5:00 daily) while he served the “treats” in the lobby. My daughter had been waiting for his arrival way before 4:00 and she was there waiting for him while he was setting up; right when he was about ready to start serving, a group of kids tried to go in front of her/us and he recognized this and served myself and the kids first and the people who he saw had been waiting. Huge points for that! Great customer service; he even served us in the lounge and took care of us when the bar had gotten busy even when we weren’t his table; there was no tip in it for him and he still offered us great customer service. just a really great guy. (FYI kids only allowed in the lounge area and not allowed in the bar but they love the bar bites). There were two gentlemen that I believe were the breakfast manager and dinner managers; there names have slipped my mind but they were also amazing and made sure we were taken care of!! Jan was another friendly face we saw just about every morning who did what she could to get us the particular chair location we preferred and did it with a smile. There was another young lady with blond hair that walked a snorkel all the way down for my daughter and for my son. She was also very helpful and friendly. I had a maintenance issue my second day and Brian was amazing!! He was kind when my maintenance was probably my own user error… but he was kind and never led on that it was and didn’t make me feel like I was an idiot for calling him up. LOL He also came back later in the week because the toilet continually was running and quickly fixed that. Billy was also wonderful and came immediately late at night and fixed the smoke alarm that was beeping. Once it was fixed he asked if we needed anything else; waters, towels, anything. Super nice guy. The guy who was frequently at the front desk was also so much fun to talk with; (I want to say his name was Raj?) I would joke that he must live there since I saw him all the time. He made us feel so welcomed EVERY TIME he saw ANYONE he WAS the reason many people smiled. Genuinely loved people. Thank you for making us feel like friends while we vacationed with you. For those visiting: some things that I wish I had known was that they no longer have bike rentals being offered. The website needs to be updated along with accurate lagoon water slide hours and pool hours… they are different than the website. Neither pool was open until 8:00 in March it said sunset. However, something that was Amazing that they DO offer that I wish I had known; pool towels ARE provided AT the beach as well. The laundry detergent they provided… Also, their make up remover wipes were great quality and used them over mine. I also preferred their shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and lotion over mine; so save space and...

Terrible experience. The hotel itself was beautiful and the food and spa were delicious and pleasant. My issue arose with the fact that I purchased my room through a third party (Priceline). Due to purchasing a reduced rate room for a total of $300+ for 1 night, I was unable to deal with the hotel directly. The hotel staff was friendly however when I went to Customer Service to complain, I was told my suite was not owned by the hotel but rather another company called Luxury Suites. Apparently that company has their own housekeepers that handle rooms booked through Priceline. My room (415), was disgusting.

  1. The bed was made, however there were stains all over the sheets and pillow cases....one stain appeared to be a red blood droplet on the white pillow case, the other was a black 4 inch smudge stain on the bed.
  2. The closet had extra sheets/blankets, just thrown about on the shelves (not folded)
  3. Online it says "no pets" allowed in the room, but this room had a 2 ft tall by 1 ft wide cat post scratcher left alongside the couch, (I'm allergic to cats).
  4. There were items still in the freezer, a pint container of opened (no lid) ice cream half eaten. And an open water bottle in the fridge.
  5. The kitchen soap dispenser did not function
  6. The carpet in the bedroom had a large discolored bleach stain on the carpet (approx. 4 feet long), that was covered by a 3 ft long cut out of the carpet just loosely on top of it, It looked very trashy. I initially checked into the room at 4pm and immediately saw the bed. The hotel staff said they could not assist me or change rooms and I had to deal with the company's housekeepers. So I called the number...The bed sheets were changed within 20 min. I was unable to stay and returned at midnight to discover the rest of the listed issues. I called 1st thing in the morning to be told by the hotel, Priceline, and Luzury Suites that there was nothing they could do and that I should have called at midnight to complain. I slept in the room so I understand I should pay an amount however the total quality of the experience was completely unsatisfactory and I at least should have received a discounted price. The owner of Luxury Suites was rude and only said that the rooms are cleaned after every checkout and that if I had an issue, they would have changed my room at midnight. I don't understand how a company such as Luxury Suites is able to operate with the Marriot and Priceline in this manner. I would have been satisfied even with the owner of Luxury Suites saying he would look into my complaint but he did not say that, he only told me it was my fault that I didn't call at midnight to complain. Mind you, I was already told I could not change rooms by the hotel staff when i complained the first time. He was unprofessional and kept saying it was their policy to assist only during the stay and that at that point I was out of luck. ADDITIONALLY, when I was speaking to the manager or owner of Luxury Suites via telephone at the front desk, another guest from room 417 was checking out. She was also complaining to the receptionist that her room was dirty, the countertops did not look wiped down, and there were bugs and insects in her room...and that the housekeeper left a pair of shorts hanging in the closet. That customer told me she was dealing with a death in the family and did not have the time to deal with the unsatisfactory room.

I also called the hotel directly the day of the incident to inquire about booking a room with them directly and not through Priceline however it went to an answering service and the woman told me that on Mondays the phone gets forwarded to the call center and they do not know specifics of the hotel. I left my name and phone number for a callback and after hours of waiting I booked through Priceline. No one ever called me back.

Terrible experience. However the Spa and restaurant and...
