The staff was great. Except they gave me a room a single girl on the first floor. Which I asked for as soon as I came in and asked if I could have a room on the 2nd floor. They said they were sold out.
I went into my room there was used soda bottles in fridge. No big deal.
I had a flight in the am and I went to call the don’t desk for the wake up call. It was 3:30pm in the afternoon. The phone was not working. I had to call on my cell phone. One of the employees came to wake me at 7 am.
They told me there was no Maintenace man on duty at “3:30pm” to fix my phone. Seriously?
Now I am single on the first floor without a phone.
The room they put me in is right next to the hotel van. So every time customers coming from and leaving to the airport I could hear the talking and the bus when it backs up makes a loud dining sound to alert people.
It alert me until 1 am. And the starting at 6 am. There was no need to give me a wake up call.
Soon after my stay the district manager sends an email about the stay. She wrote saying that she hoped my stay was good. I told her what happen. Do you think she would get back to me? It has been a week.
I would have let this go. I should have flown from NYC to Detroit the morning of instead of paying to get a good night sleep before my flight to Vietnam. 27 hours of flying.
But when a “district” manager writes to you and ask you about your stay then when you say it is not a good and one she does not email you back. That is upsetting. That email is what made me write this review.
Seriously the staff and the front desk was kind as can be. Sadly they work in a hotel that is broken down and not under good management.
(By the way, I live in hotels. I work on private jets.). The place is needs to be refurbished. There is like 2 choices of food delivery. Can I say more? Stay somewhere else. A nice staff does not make up for a bad night of sleep.
(In the mini kitchen there is no silverware, plates or cups. I have never seen that in an extended stay before. Totally bare. No coffee. No soap. First class...
Read moreHEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO BE CALLED TO THIS LOCATION IMMEDIATELY!
You are hit with a wall of thick, musty, old smoke as soon as you walk into the lobby, which lingers throughout the entire hotel and the rooms.
The rooms were anything but clean. I would not be surprised if housekeeping literally just remakes the bed and refolds the towels to be reused by the next guest. It was that disgusting of a place.
There was mold on the hood vent, a pile of dust that looked liked it hadn't been touched in over a month, bodily fluids on the chairs, stray hairs in the bathroom, fingerprints ALL over the doors and touch points that look like they hadn't been wiped down in months, and the shower had a drip all night long.
Walls are paper thin. I was literally woken up by people talking at a normal level in the room next door. It felt like I was in bed with them. Bed is as hard as a rock and the pillows felt like the pillows you get in economy class on an airplane.
Had I not checked in past midnight, I would have walked right out and found another place to stay. This was BEYOND disgusting and I would stay far away from this place. There is a chance you catch a disease staying at this hotel. No joke.
If anyone from the health department reads this, seriously, go give this place a check. You probably won't be disappointed and I wouldn't be surprised if they shut them down for the unsanitary conditions.
You can tell by past reviews and comments from the manager, they DO NOT ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT IMPROVING THE SANITARY CONDITIONS. They say they will work on it, but reviews from YEARS ago have the exact same complaints as people visiting in 2025. NOTHING...
Read moreWe are from out of state and are staying for work. Been here for some months now and I can't say anything bad about this place. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen areas are nice. We are traveling with a baby and they have been very accommodating. Staff is absolutely wonderful! From the front desk, to the housekeepers and maintenance men. Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful whenever we need anything or have questions. The housekeepers do a wonderful job and are very friendly and helpful as well. Had a problem with our sink leaking and maintenance came to fix it for us promptly. Also was professional and friendly. We asked about being moved to a larger room after being here awhile because we have our baby and when a room became available they were nice enough to let us switch which was very appreciated. They have coffee in the mornings along with grab go type breakfast (muffins, oatmeal, ECT) . Location is nice too. End of a dead end street, so not too noisy even though the highway does run on one side of it if you close the curtains it lessens the sound. If you're on the highway side of the building though and the trees aren't full you have a pretty good view of sunsets/rises too, even if it is over a highway it's still nice. We've stayed in a lot of hotels from here to Oregon in the last year and a half and I have to say this is one of my favorites and...
