Coming into town for a convention, my Husband and I spent four days at this hotel. All of the staff that we came into contact with was wonderful, and the rooms were nice and presentable. There is a cafe in the lobby, and free Starbucks coffee is available in the mornings. There are also items like chips, soda, soup, or personal items like toothpaste, or deodorant, for sale next to the check in counter. There was plenty of parking, but note that you will be charged for each day of your stay there to park in the lot. It's in a good location, with plenty of places to eat in the area. The only negative things I can say was that the balcony to our room was nice, but very dirty, and we wanted to sit in the courtyard which looked nice from the inside, but the tables were not clean, and there was an unpleasant smell in the air.

Pleasant and comfortable in every way, they went above and beyond to think of every convenience an airport traveler or hipster would want. Seriously comfy bed, very nice shampoos etc in the shower, real blackout curtains, very quiet, huge TV that streams from your own phone or computer, park-like courtyard in the center for quiet fresh air, the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had (other than luxury hotels) with avocado toast and coconut water and Starbucks, departures screen in the lobby and printer to print your boarding passes, free shuttle to the airport every 20 mins, sleek yet warm modern design throughout, and very friendly staff. If I’m ever back in Detroit I’ll stay here again in a heartbeat.

On behalf of STS Line Aircraft Maintenance Group, I would like to express our sincere appreciation for the wonderful experience we had at this hotel and the wonderful experienced and very knowledgeable staff Terry, Larissa, Brittany, and LaTonya that always greeted us with beautiful smiles and wonderful service. Every staff worker at this hotel would speak to you and greet you and make you feel warm and comfortable. We are truly grateful for your cooperation and all the services that you provided us. We look forward to seeing you again in future. An enjoyable and comfortable and very clean stay. Generally, the hotel was above expectation. Thank you guys!!!

The lobby was beautiful, updated, but the room was the exact opposite. Old, dingy, bad lighting, slight smell. The window in the room was a sliding glass door to the parking lot. Parking spots 5 feet from the door. Headlights directly into my room. Had do have the light blocking drapes closed at all times. We stayed at this airport because we had an early flight out in the morning. After working all day an hour and a half away, I was looking forward to getting to bed early to get up for my early flight. There was no hope for that. The pool seems to be open 24/7. There were kids running up and down the hallway to and from the pool. I thought that would end as I would think kids should be in bed by a certain time, but after 11pm, they were still running up and down, screaming and waking me up. I finally got to sleep, and then shortly after 1am, a party came to life in the room next door. I called the front desk and it took another couple of calls (and another hour of lost sleep) before they finally put an end to it. After that, someone in the room on the other side started snoring. Seriously thin walls for me to be hearing that enough for it to wake me up and keep me from getting back to sleep. The windows are also not great. Big planes were landing in the wee hours of the morning, again waking me up. Last night was one of the worst nights sleep I have ever gotten. EVER. If you are looking to refresh, recharge with a good night's sleep, steer clear of this hotel. It is AWFUL! Oh, and the front desk staff misinformed us about breakfast. They said it opened at 6:00. So we cut our very precious couple hours of sleep a bit shorter so we could at least get something to eat before our flight just to find that breakfast starts at 6:30 on the weekends. We would have forgone breakfast and slept 30 mins longer if we had known. just a truly...

This hotel is five minutes away from the airport, so it's excellent if you're traveling and just stopping for the night in that regard. However, the service is pretty lacking. The room itself appeared clean, and the toilet paper was folded to a crisp point in the bathroom so I know room service at least stopped by the room... But there was a dirty washcloth hanging over the shower curtain's bar, so I'm not sure just how thorough they really were. Mistakes and oversights happen, so we called the front desk and explained the situation, hoping they'd move us to another room where the shower was clean or something similar. They told us they'd send someone to clean the shower. Okay, not the most ideal solution for the picky traveler, but fair enough. The maintenance man (we checked in pretty late so I'm assuming the housekeeping staff was off for the evening already) came very quickly after we called and sprayed down the shower with bleach solution and wiped it clean. Good enough to kill the germs, I suppose. What ACTUALLY irks me is that he didn't bother to remove the dirty washrag we had complained about in the first place AND left dirty, black footprints from his boots all over the bathroom floor, leaving it dirtier than before. At this point we decided it wasn't worth the fuss. The sheets were clean on the bed and everything else in the room seemed in order and we were only staying one night after a very late flightand leaving early in the morning so I was more interested in sleeping than waiting around to get the issue resolved properly. Next time, however, I'll book a room at one of the four other hotels that are all on the same block as this one. I've always been pleased with Courtyards in the past for the budget bracket they're in, but this one...

Stay at CBM Detroit Metro was a solidly good stay for the time I needed to be there. Stayed for 20 nights for work. The staff friendly, the layout simple. My room was easy access to get to my car to leave and come in privately without disruption to other patrons. The fitness room was decent, laundry room was adequate. Had the necessary things i needed to function for the time spent. Biggest drawbacks: TurnDown Service was missing. Only 1 time did cleaning come and change sheets and update towels. I mainly had to ask rather than rely on execution and followup that my room was cleaned. While i get that they do it every 5 days, Mine essentially was every 15 days which to me i think is not cool. I get that Covid and pandemic protocols have changed staffing and means but you cant have someone stay there for that long a time and not follow up and follow through on having someone come change sheets and pillows and towels and clean at least 2 or 3 times in a 21 day/20 night span. It may have been miscommunication or just a miss but there was very little consistency and follow through done. Courtyard is always a quality stay and never had much issue or concern in any CBM. At the same time I never stayed as long as time in one setting as i had. Location was excellent and service again friendly. Would have been nice to have a quality tea maker and microwave available to stay that long as well. But i didnt mind as much to go to central microwave to warm up food. Bistro was great. The only issue was availability. M-F only breakfast and dinner, missed out on taking advantage. All in All good stay elsewise. Would stay again but hopefully their cleaning service/set up is a little...
