Nice, clean hotel and a delicious breakfast. If safety and privacy is your concern then this is not a place to stay. A staff member entered my room without permission. The hotel policy here is that no one will enter your room unless you request service. I was in my room working, when the door opened. When the staff member realized someone was in the room he scurried away down the hallway. He did not stop until I had to yell down and asked what happened? I called down to the front desk and the manager said they were sorry because of a “system issue.” I’m glad I was not with my traveling with my family. I would be highly concerned staying here due to safety and privacy. Lock your doors, put the chair up against the door and hope no one enters because of a system issue. My last day here I was waking up every hour to ensure I had the latch on! Also please stop requesting me on social media. I put a complaint into headquarters and now you are harassing me. It’s really creepy. Note I have not put names of employees out of respect and privacy.

A perfect hotel for business travel. Right off highway 99 and easy to access. I parked in the public lot next to the hotel and my rental car was safe and secure. The rooms were a nice size with a fabulous room robe to use for post shower and lounging. I love a good hotel robe! My colleague and I ate at the hotel bar for dinner and the salmon, Mac and cheese and burrata with bread was a perfect meal with our cocktails after a long day of work. We even ate at the hotel restaurant for breakfast and the scones and Avocado 🥑 toast hit the spot. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful with questions about the neighborhood and parking. We sadly didn’t have time to stroll the neighborhood because of time and rain. But I could see returning and enjoying city walks another time.

"...Viking has a deal with the Plaza Hotel, they got a two bedroom suite, there , for out-of-town clients...So guess what I did?" Elaine Benes, Seinfeld

Da Scene: Fri. just up for the night to attend a family event Sat. Well, we didn't get a two bedroom suite, as the Fort Sutter doesn't have that size room... opt'd for 2 queens, as a king with a pullout is not a viable option for us, teenager deserves a real bed. Not as conspicuous an entrance as most hotels, I did locate it. Checked in online, but stopped @ desk to pick up a physical key... our experience with the Hilton App digital key has been hit or miss - seems fine most times, but can be troublesome at the most inconvenient times.

Da Stay: Pretty new spot, modern feel, public spaces crisp & clean, no caffeine! As "pre-covid" for guests, most staff were following protocols, but I never felt judged acting "free". Room was smartly appointed with updated furnishings, plenty of storage, modern amenities, layout, just missing a few points: no luggage valet, had to lay a towel on the bed to unpack. 3 paper cups for in-room coffee/tea, but 6 servings - also, cups did not fit properly, must balance and watch!

Da Service: Pretty good overall... Just some attention to detail to make this a true 5 Star Hilton experience. I'll SAY it... we're spoiled, even in these times as Diamond Tier members, we have high expectations on the service side. The valued greeting, welcome package, instructions on hotel services & amenities, etc. did not happen. When asked about what was onsite, when things closed down, where to park and get sundries, etc. staff were very responsive, but info like that should be delivered up front at check-in (found out before check Out that we had a breakfast credit in the cafe, timing issue and couldn't use!). Didn't bother mentioning/asking about Daimond welcome package... I guess I AM to proud to beg. I know it sounds a bit pretentious, but we do a lot to maintain that status and are accustomed to a higher level of attention/benefit. More GOOD stuff, the front desk staff and lobby bar/ cafe is great! Barkeeps make a great cocktail, and keep you feeling tended to. Even have a few eyedroppers for craft cocktails! Couldn't get the Grasshopper for my wife though... darn!

We'll be back! Turn it up a notch on the service & Hilton experience and this will be a 5 Star...

The best hotel experience possible. Our unexpectedly long stay was a master class in hospitality.

All needs and desires were quickly provided by the most attentive staff we've ever experienced. The entire hotel is gorgeous and clean. The room was quiet, the beds are extremely comfortable, and we loved the TV/streaming setup. Blackout curtains, powerful AC, and nice views of Midtown gave us every comfort of home.

The location is perfect for visiting Sutter Hospital, with only a block and a half walk to the entrance. A bunch of great restaurants, groceries, and services are also within a few blocks. Parking can seem tricky in Midtown, but the staff gave good advice.

Without leaving the building, you have a world class bar, The Four Palms, plus one of the best restaurants in the city: Café Bernardo. Room service is fast and affordable. Every floor has either an ice machine or filtered water. The comfortable lobby has a peaceful ambience and a gas fireplace for cooler nights.

The vigilant and personable security unit made us feel completely safe at all times.

The front desk staff is a finely-tuned team of experts. Jash, Christina, Alexis, and the other desk agents made us feel like the most important guests they had. The housekeeping and maintenance teams were equally accommodating, professional, and generous. Without exaggeration, the service here is better than any luxury resort.

Doubtlessly the finest hotel in Midtown. We'll never stay...

My wife and I came here for her to have some critical and innovative back surgery. Obviously a stressful time for us. We were greeted by your concierge, Juvae, who was very friendly, warm, and quickly grasped the stress we were under. He could see how tired we were at that point, and did everything possible to make us completely comfortable. This is one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever spent time in. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the entire room arrangement is very supportive. My wife is recovering nicely and I sincerely believe that the level of comfort here had something to do with that.||I should return my remarks to your personnel here. Everyone has been very friendly, and seems genuinely happy to see us. We enjoyed the smiling greetings, and the feeling that we were among family somehow. Juvae, in particular, took a very kind and special interest in our well-being. Walking back from the hospital every evening, seeing him and having him ask about how my wife is doing, made dealing with the stress of the situation so much more bearable. I was able to let my guard down a bit, and relax and visit and relate one on one. I appreciated how seemingly effortlessly he could handle other guests needs graciously, and without any hint that any of us were bothering him or putting him out. It was almost like we had simply dropped by to say hi to a friend. I just can’t tell you how much it means, what a comfort it is, to be taken care...
