I've been a loyal suzie burger customer for 15 years and let me just say I am so sad with the new owners/management/waitstaff and direction of the whole establishment. I'm a little disappointed with this classic burger joint...I was CRAVING onion rings and they were out. The unsweetened tea was also just water. AND I was really looking forward to getting a chocolate dipped cone and this is what I was told, "we uh don't have any chocolate...cones...and the machine isn't working and I don't know why." Which one is it? It lead me to believe they may have just been too tired to do it, or just didn't want to do it. In all of the years I have gone to Suzie Burger, they NEVER not had onion rings or chocolate or cones or the machine was broken...So that was a soul crusher too. But maybe it was just an off day for the place. Other than that, the burgers were great all though they are much thinner and smaller patties than they used to be. I'm glad they changed the fries because now the fries have a delectable crunch on the outside and softness inside. But I was originally going to go to in n out but wanted a bigger burger, onion rings and a dipped cone and unsweetened tea...none of which I could have here today... Just sad 😄 šŸ˜”

Awesome little burger place in Midtown. They have amazing staff that are super nice every time I eat at Suzie's. Good fast food cooked to your perfection. The staff recommended the deep fried Mac and cheese double cheeseburger. It was really juicy and delicious! And right now I think they have the best burgers than in and out does. The burgers are meatier and juicy hot. The hamburger comes with grilled onions and mushrooms and whatever fixings you think of to your preference. I look forward to trying them again in the future. They also have a vegan menu option offering to all the non-carnivorous meat eaters. The french fries are freshly cooked to the right crispiness and come with the skin on. I love crispy french fries. They taste good without the ketchup. They have there own parking lot, but it is small congesyed, and inconvenient for everyone considering to get in and get out fast. Don't bother. Walking and driving your is the solution. One really good thing are the candy cane milkshakes. They are damn good. Impossibly amazing!!! ....Thank you for offering the vegan impossible burger with vegan cheese!!! This could start a very dangerous relationship.

This was my first time visiting this location, and I must say, wow! Upon entering, I was immediately impressed by how clean and spacious the restaurant was, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The cashier greeted me with a warm smile and was incredibly sweet and kind, making my ordering experience enjoyable. I decided to try the number two combo, which came with a refreshing Diet Pepsi and a side of crispy fries. When my order arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the burger. The patty tasted like it was made just moments before being served, and the special sauce complemented the juicy beef perfectly, enhanced by a layer of finely chopped onions. The bun was not only soft but had perfectly crisp edges that added a delightful texture to every bite. After tasting their burgers, I can confidently say they surpass those from In-N-Out! While their fries bore a resemblance to In-N-Out's style, the standout star here is undoubtedly the burgers—simply unmatched in flavor and quality. This place has quickly become one of my favorites for burgers, and I can’t wait to return for another delicious meal!

I have been a customer there many times. Tonight, my wife and I were downtown and stopped in for some food. I allowed another customer go ahead of us as my wife in her assistance chair was deciding on her order. When it was our turn, my wife ordered a cheeseburger and a root beer float and I a Philly cheesesteak combo (#3) with fries and paid. When asked if it for dine in or to go, I told them dine in. We proceeded to the dining room and I returned to the beverage machine to get our drinks. The young lady said they would be closing soon and I said we would do our best to finish once we received our food. We waited for our food and received it at 9:21 PM. I sat down and a young African-American girl cam into the dining area and said, ā€œ we close in 5 minutesā€. My fries were cold and stale (not what I was used to when I frequented the establishment before) my wife’s cheeseburger was also not up to temperature. Another worker came by and told us to relax and take our time eating. Within a minute, the other young lady walked up and said, ā€œwe’re closed you will need to leave.ā€ I cleaned up our table, informed her of her rudeness, and said, ā€œif you were closing, you should not have taken our order.ā€ I asked for the manager and told her that I was not happy to which she replied, ā€œI’m sorry we are closed.ā€ I told her that if we would have been told that when we ordered we would not have stayed. They took our order at 9 PM knowing it was for dining in, took several minutes to prepare the food, then rushed us out of the store before we could eat. To top it off, as soon as we were outside and I was assisting my wife into the car, they turned all of the lights off outside so I had to put the wheelchair in the car in the dark. POOR FOOD, BAD ATTITUDES BY STAFF, RUDE STAFF, unsafe environment. Save your money and go...

This is the second time my wife and I visited this place.

Honestly, when it comes burger joints, it all comes down to preference. So if you are a die hard fan of this place, then ignore this review.

I got the regular chessburger, and so did my wife. I did like that they had some items ( like mushrooms, jalapeƱos, etc,) that where unlimited to add ( temporary).

But my biggest issue was how thin the patty is. PAPPER THIN. Ive had similar type bugers elsewhere, but not as thin as Suszie's. For $20 it was for 2 burgers and 1 large fry. No drinks. And if you add a tip, then its more.

Taking consideration of the economy, I think it was still pricey for this meal. If I am going to pay 6 dollars for a burger, I'd rather pay more if I am going to get meat. I was like in a " Where's the beef " situation. I barely tasted meat as it was overrun with the other produce. Though I pulled some produce off T that point, it didn't help.

Tip: better to eat the burgers at the restaurant, bread will get soggy quick. The fries are pretty good and tasty.

Unfortunately,I tried this place twice and I'm just not impressed. There was no wow factor for me. No more Suzies for me. BUT because my wife said that she liked it, I have this review at 3 stars...
