If I could give zero stars I would. The only saving element is that it’s on St Pete Beach. We got in once a couple years ago and there was LOUD construction above our room every day. I am not exaggerating when I say it felt like they were dropping cars on top of us. Their excuse was that things were going to be so much better the next time. The most recent trip plans for 2026, they cancelled our reservation abruptly with no information in the notification. The cancellation was due to MORE construction. They had a little excuse because of the hurricanes. Yet, we went to St Pete and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn the year before. Most businesses were open except for them and the Don Cesar. A YEAR LATER and they still aren’t done and can’t give an estimated completion date. Something is shady(er) since Hilton bought them. By the time we got notice of the cancellation, there were no good properties in Florida or other warm winter Bluegreen properties left. There was no offered resolution or remorse for our inconvenience. They totally scammed my 75-year-old mother! It’s not just Florida. We went to Bluegreen’s property this week, near Shenandoah National Park to stay in a yurt which is what we hoped would be a great glamping experience. CONSTRUCTION RIGHT NEXT TO US. The resort had multiple other empty options but they put us there. We could not even carry our luggage in without me and my 84-year-old Dad stepping over obstacles. RUN if Bluegreen approaches you. RUN. Tell your friends and family too!

My Girlfriend owns Bluegreen and this is the third time we stayed at this property. The Bluegreen units comprise the Breckenridge Building. The Breckenridge is an old hotel converted into a time-share and it shows it. The maintenance is a little lacking. The air conditioners were filthy and some guests were complaining that their air conditioners were not working. We also found some of the decor to be tacky, like the pelican lamps in the living room and the orange slanted bed lamp (See pictures). With all this said, there are positives. The place is clean, the showers are hot, and the beds are comfortable. The beach there is great (See picture) and the complimentary cabana is a great amenity. We also enjoyed the adult pool and a late afternoon snack each afternoon at Salty's. The beach side bar and snack bar. We had a couple of breakfasts at Bermuda, the restaurant in the Breckenridge building. The service and the food were good, but the menu was overpriced when compared to breakfast venues off property.

Always a great visit. The BG rooms are always comfy and well maintained. They redecorated rooms in the last year. Artwork isn't to my taste but we we ennoyed the pool, hot tub and slide and other outdoor activities much of the time anyway. We ate at Beef's and the Flying Bridge. Food was priced reasonably (for the beach) and very good. Yummy vegetarian options available. We didn't try Pizza Hut on property this time bca last time the pizza wasn't properly cooked. But the Ice cream they serve is amazing. Let your kids try "Superman" Ice cream. Ours Love it.

When my husband and I were scheduling our vacation, we read many positive and negative reviews about Tradewinds. We stayed at Breckenridge which is going through a renovation. The construction was never an issue for us. There are billboards showing what the plans are and has made us excited to return. Our room had a beautiful beach front view where we could see the hustle and bustle of activity on the beach. We were able to see a thunderstorm move across the water and the lightening that hit the water in the distance was beautiful! The kitchenette area was fully stocked and was very useful. The environmental service staff was always helpful and friendly when we asked for replacement items. The staff does a great job outside also keeping the resort clean and organized. They were out before sunrise cleaning and getting activities ready for the visitors. The cabana crew were very kind. They would lead us to our cabana, bring a pole to hold the shade in place and bring us each a comfy cushion. During the day we spent hours finding beautiful shells on the beach and swimming in the warm water. It was a very laid-back beach atmosphere with friendly local residents. There are also many amazing pools to enjoy. Tradewinds offers many activities. We took a ride on the lazy river in a paddle boat, played ping pong and made sea glass jewelry. If pickleball is your thing, there are some very nice courts edged with beautiful landscaping. There is a jet ski rental group that is fun. The day we rented our jet ski, we were able to see many dolphins. We kept our distance and let them have their space to catch fish and do their tricks. In the evening, we enjoyed eating smores, listening to live music and watching the amazing sunsets. The resort is set in a great location with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. There are also many services to take you on tours. We had an amazing dolphin watching experience with Dolphin Landings Charter Boat Center. It was memorable from the nice lady that scheduled us to Captain Scott and his crew mate Jim. The morning sailboat cruise was very relaxing. I was skeptical that we would see dolphins. Boy was I wrong. We saw dolphins, we sailed with dolphins, we enjoyed the dolphins. Scott and Jim were great guides full of information and you could tell that they really enjoy sailing and taking people out to see dolphins. The service is very concerned about the environment and keeping the manatee and dolphins in the area happy. The Publix grocery store has a great selection of items you might need. We found a great burger/fish and chips spot called Boulevard Burgers. Cafe Soleil was at the top of our list for paninis and pastries. The ladies at Cafe Soleil recommended Buona Risotante which was just next door and has amazing Italian food. We also had dinner at the RumFish Grill and enjoyed watching the fish in their massive aquarium. There are many transportation options if you are not up for walking. We were able to book transportation to and from the airport through Shirley with the resort transportation service. Shirley goes above and beyond to make your stay great. Our drivers Jeff and Alan were very courteous and knowledgeable about the area. They offered great ideas on places to eat, visit and shop. To say that we enjoyed our stay is an understatement. We are very much looking forward to visiting St. Pete's Beach again...

I would like to start by saying we had such high hopes for this stay and planned it months in advance. We normally stay at the Don Cesar down the street but know the fireworks are near the Tradewinds, so we decided to Stay there! Our check in was on the 3rd at 4pm. First red flag was our room was not ready until 5:45. We got the family suite facing the Ocean just so we would be front row for the fireworks, Family suite as in multilabel people joining us. The 4th during the day at the beach Was also not what we expected. I was down at the beach at 8am, to get a covered cabana. At least 5-7 very young people were there and stated they did not open until 9 And that they were having problems with the app that the hotel has and really did not know what was available, no problem we will wait until 9 and see. 9 am comes around and we were told that it would be longer because they needed to double check the available cabanas that there was a problem with the app, Mind you they knew this at 8 so I was confused but continued to wait until almost 10am finally we got two cabanas and started to enjoy our day, roughly three hours later a Man with his family while we were in the water put his stuff on our cabana, I ran to the cabana and asked what was going on and he said he booked this cabana, This is the problem with the app. I guess they were double booking, we finally got this situation figured out, and we were allowed to remain where we were. After the beach we cleaned up and headed to dinner, my adult son, 19 yrs. old with another family member arrived after work, for the fireworks. We were at the Italian Restaurant they have there and I told my son to go get something at the other restaurant near the pool, mind you I had two wrist bands for the both of them in my room, this is when it went from bad to worse, not even 20 min, later my son walks up to us saying he is leaving and is being yelled at, I got up from our table and walked to the front of the building and seen a grown man yelling in my sons face. I asked what happened and he said and I quote " he looked like a local and did not belong, so we followed him" what the...... Instead of asking him if he had a wrist band then proceeded to follow him and make him feel uncomfortable, when he questions them, they met him with aggression. Mind you I was not there but when I questioned him he proceed to tell me I could leave as well, this is so unprofessional and shocking, we paid thousands of dollars to stay there plus all the extras to only be told to leave because of a misunderstanding, the head of security shouldn't be in charge of the parking lot let alone our safety or children. His name is Matt Vanburen and is an absolute power hungry person Im not sure what you have to look like to belong but that should never leave the mouth of security ever.... this would be an awesome place to stay but they need some major work, I will say the manager on duty gave me a full refund and was very nice!, we left that night one day early after doing nothing to deserve that sort of treatment and I would never stay there again., there is tons of hotels on the beach, I ask that anyone looking to enjoy the beach pick another one until Matt is removed and the process is looked at...

I set up A vacation through Booksi/monster in August 2024.I was supposed to be staying at the courtyard by Marriott Clearwater Beach. I tried to schedule for this vacation for over a year! Then they told me that the courtyard was no longer an option and that I had to go to a timeshare presentation or I would not get this vacation. So I went to a very nice location here in Kissimmee of course I had to pay the resort fees and taxes and listen to a 2 hour sales presentation. I explained the situation to the people in Kissimmee because I felt like I was taking advantage of which I was as I have a special-needs daughter and told them I could only go within three hours of Orlando and they kept trying to ship me other places telling me there was no place close here to the beach that I could go to that had any rooms. So a manager told me he would take care of it to wait till after September to book when it slowed down the next time I called he was no longer with the company or available they said so I booked at the Tradewinds in Tampa Saint Pete area, which is also a blue green resorts timeshare location. They told me I would not have to go to the timeshare presentation as part of the agreement cause I had already been to one in Kissimmee. I made the reservation three weeks in advance gave them my credit card information. They confirmed my reservation and then five days later they call me and tell me the resort is going to be closed. Monster is a huge scam. They promise you things that they cannot deliver because they’re not gonna be on site and they’re the booking company for these other timeshares. The other timeshare company told me they have trouble with Monster all the time promising things that the timeshare companies can’t deliver, but have to apologize for because of Monster. That is the perfect name for this company because they are monster liars. They make monster promises they can’t keep! Beware and contact your attorney! I think we need a Monster sized class action lawsuit for damages, fraud and...
