Listen, I need real reviews from real people because I’m sick of bots and people owned by Hilton or whatever writing these reviews and them not being real. I read a mom‘s review on Expedia for this place and it’s what made us decide to try it so yes my room smelled a little musty when I arrived, but that and doesn’t last as soon as the air conditioning kicks on our room was super clean. We had a one bedroom condo with a king size bed super comfy mattress water pressure isn’t the best but I mean it’s a temporary situation you can live with that but the pool area is fabulous. Really nice Pool facilities right at Saint Pete Beach with beach access and you can totally get a cabana or do whatever you want to go down to the beach I think this is a really good value for money. go to the grocery store down the street and live your best life by going out to dinner. I highly recommend this resort traveling as a couple with kids elderly everybody is really nice. We’ve stayed at nearby resorts multiple times and that’s been fine but those places just keep getting more and more expensive. See if you can stay here. It’s a timeshare condo but they seem to have some rooms that are rentals always so if you’re lucky enough to get one of those, enjoy.

Stay Away When we arrived, we were immediately disappointed with our room. The room looked like it hadn’t been updated in decades. The website mentioned their poolside bar and balconies. The bar was not even open and the balcony was a common walkway with two chairs and a table. After our initial disappointment, we complained to the office staff but they had no available rooms to move us to. Then we discovered the mold in the bathroom (3 pics enclosed) and that was the final straw. We booked a room at another resort and checked out the following day. After explaining to the clerk about our room and the mold, the only response we got was “where is the other swim band?” Take up any problems with Hotels.com. Didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience or inquire about when the mold was in the room. After contacting Hotels.com, they contacted the Coral Reef management and we were informed that after the reservation was finalized, there were no refunds of any kind. I guess they could have put us in a broom closet and there is no recourse available. The pool was very nice, but that was the only thing that was represented accurately. I hope they at least take our money and clean the room!

This entire facility is a timeshare/condo community that rents out the empty rooms like a hotel. What that means is that the quality of the rooms may vary immensely based on whi owns it. However, our room was fantastic, well-kept, and clean. The building is old and very "Florida", so expect dated and worn to be the look, but it was generally well-taken care of. Patios aren't private and beds are firm, but for the price and location, you can't really argue. The view from our room was unmatched.

Our vacation at Coral Reefs Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida, was nothing short of spectacular. It was an unforgettable experience for my family, especially my four daughters. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for an incredible time.

The location couldn't have been better. Our room was a mere stone's throw away from the pristine beach, and we couldn't get enough of the breathtaking views. Watching the sunrise and sunset over the Gulf of Mexico was a daily ritual that left us in awe.

The resort's amenities were outstanding. The pool and Jacuzzi provided a perfect escape for relaxation, and the kids had a blast splashing around. The staff at Coral Reefs Resort went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Room service was prompt, and our needs were met with utmost care.

One highlight of our vacation was the wide range of activities available. We decided to try a bit of everything. We rented a jet ski and zoomed along the coast, feeling the rush of adrenaline as we explored the crystal-clear waters. The zip line was a thrilling adventure, offering panoramic views of the area that took our breath away. And the water slide provided endless entertainment, especially for the kids.

What made our stay even more enjoyable was the flexibility to use the facilities of the neighboring resort. This meant we could switch things up and try new activities whenever we wanted, adding an extra layer of excitement to our vacation.

I was so impressed with Coral Reefs Resort that I'm seriously considering purchasing a time share there. The combination of stunning natural beauty, top-notch service, and an array of activities made it a vacation we'll cherish forever. St. Pete Beach itself is a hidden gem, and our stay at this resort made it even more special. We left with our hearts full of gratitude and our minds already planning our return trip. Coral Reefs Resort truly exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait...

The warning for other travelers would be to confirm you will have one room during your stay.We made reservations through Expedia two months in advance and confirmed several days before arriving. When we arrived to check in I immediately felt a bad vibe from the front desk staff but didn't let it affect our check in. We were staying for the weekend and booked for a 2 night stay. On our second day we bumped into the housekeeping staff and told them the room did not require service. At that point we were informed we were moving rooms that day without our knowledge. In addition we were not just moving but having to check out of one room and move out luggage etc into the office to wait for the room to be available. We had already made plans to be on a boat to go snorkeling etc and would not be available. We were told if we had not been there they would have just packed up our belongings and moved them without our permission. We went the office to discuss the matter and informed them we had no knowledge of the situation. We were not given any paperwork upon check-in. The response was well you signed the form that said you were moving at check-in. It was never mentioned while speaking to staff at check in. When we did see the form at check out it had some handwritten statement in different hand writing stating we would have to move. Either way it would be a detail you would disclose at check-in. I believe they purposely withheld the information because they knew we would not be happy. When we expressed our displeasure they were very combative and gave the SOL speech. After my wife became upset they basically said they were going to forcibly check us out because we were upset. When I told them"good luck with that" they suddenly found a way to keep us in our room.|The other negative was the sofa sleeper mattress my 15 year old was going to sleep on had red stains all over and he refused to sleep on it. He had to sleep with us.|The positives would be nice pool area and close proximity...
