I have been going to St. Petes Beach for the last 25+ years and I have been staying at Sunrise Resort. Some of my best sunrise and sunset photos were taken there! The property is beautiful and well maintained. Nancy, Steve and the rest of the management staff are friendly and always helpful. The two bedroom, two bathroom condos are clean, well appointed and have everything you would need during your holiday. I love how our balcony at the back faces the Intercostal waters, where the manatee and dolphins play. From our 6th floor front balcony, we have beautiful views of the beach and the Gulf. Grocery shopping is just a 5 minute drive away and there are plenty of great restaurants in walking distance. We love walking on the beach and stopping at Jimmy B’s or Bongos for a drink or a bite to eat. I would recommend to anyone wanting a great vacation, to visit Sunrise Resort at St. Petes Beach.

Owning units at the Sunrise Resort is amazing. The staff is wonderful, the units are kept in remarkable condition, and the views can't be beaten. The location is key, as you are sitting on the bay and directly across the street from the ocean with a path to walk right to the beach. With a great tennis court, shuffleboard, a beautiful pool area with a grill deck, you can't beat the experience. Why stay in a hotel when you can have all the luxuries of home for the same price? The penthouse condos can sleep up to 6 comfortably! Don't miss out on seeing dolphins and manatees up close off the huge dock on the bay.

We stay at Sunrise every year in unit 509 and love it. The unit is very nice and well kept . The outdoor facilities are well maintained with nice pool, tennis/pickleball court and is in a great location . The beach is right across the street and there are lots of fun bars and restaurants in walking distance. There are great views of the water to catch either the sunrise or sunset. We will definitely be going back.

I stayed at this property with my wife and 18-year-old son over New Years 2021. We really enjoyed our stay here. The check-in process was very easy, and the property manager was very friendly. All information for our stay was provided in advance, so we knew exactly what to expect. The property was very clean and very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the pillows were nice and thick (the way I like them!). The master ensuite bathroom was decent - one sink with a large counter for all of your things. The only thing I didn't like about the master bath was that the TP holder was very low on the wall next to the toilet, making it very difficult to get TP. A few more towels and wash cloths would be nice, although I understand that they have issues with theft. The 2nd bathroom didn't have this issue; having two full baths is a very big plus. The kitchen is decent, with most dishes & cookware provided. A couple of spatulas, cookie sheet, and pizza cutter would have been useful. The living room is comfortable, and there are plenty of channels on the TV for rainy days. The internet wifi is good enough for streaming videos and such, although my son said it was a bit lacking for gaming - can't expect it to handle that! The patio is nice and large, and affords a very nice view of the intercoastal waters. The sunrise peeks up in the corner of a neighboring building - I was hoping it would come up right over the water but it was still beautiful.

The location is ideal on St. Pete Beach. It's right across the street from the Tradewinds Resort, and there are many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. There are even grills to use on the property, although we didn't use them. In case anyone is wondering about the condition of the tennis courts, they were in the process of being refinished while we were there and should be looking brand...

We rented a condo at Sunrise Resort through NextHome Beach Really. Don't know if this is the only management company at this resort that rents apartments or if there are others. NextHome will require that you sign an extensive contract and, in advance, will charge $160 cleaning fee (for an 800 sq ft one bedroom), a $59 damage fee (which is not refundable if there's no damage), plus a $50+ service fee. ||||Terms of their agreement were that there were no refunds unless there was a mandatory evacuation. We were there for one night of a seven night vacation when we received a mandatory evacuation order due to Hurricane Ian. As required, we evacuated and notified the NextHome office that we had.||||Trying to get the refund of our unused six nights according to the terms of their contract was like pulling teeth. They tried to say the evacuation order didn't come until after the first two nights of our stay. This was incorrect at best and a lie at worst. After more than a week's worth of back and forth we finally got a partial refund. They ended up charging us over $560 for one night's stay with no refund of their multiple exorbitant fees. (The original per night cost was booked at $149). Simply put, they were terrible to deal with. It's a shame because we liked the condo. However, we will never deal with NextHome again, not for this property or any other they manage. Theirs fees are over the top and it took a lot of contact and angst on our part to get them to live up to even some of their contract. There are much...

Terrible experience this past month (June 2023). My family (10+ people) have been reserving rooms here for years and the past two years have been really bad experiences and we won’t be coming back. The most recent trip saw my mother, who reserved her penthouse a year prior to arrival, find out a couple hours before check in her room was unavailable due to it being sold the previous month. After hours of phone calls and arguing she finally received a smaller room for a few nights and they were only willing to take 20% off after screwing her out of a room and extra days she paid for. This was also the second year in a row this happened to her. My sister had issues with being locked out of her room due to a malfunctioning door that had to have a handyman come out 5 times to fix and was told she would be reimbursed for the inconvenience and then they lied and shortchanged her on the reimbursement. The final straw was then taking the security deposit from my room stating they had to sweep, clean the counter, and wash the sheets which apparently costs $150 and they weren’t going to do anyways? This place used to be nice but the new realty group is garbage and do not take care of the customers or have any interest in repeat customers. We’ve been loyal patrons for over a decade and have spent thousands of dollars butwill never return or recommend this disaster company to anyone else. There are too many comparable places on the beach to deal with these shady...
