The area itself was nice. No issues with the arena, but I have several issues with Country Thunder itself. Thank you to the head of security Justin for helping us! It was greatly appreciated. You made us enjoy the weekend the best we could. First, the whole set up was HORRIBLE! There was a lawn section for CHAIRS, there was reserved seating with CHAIRS provided, then you had the VIP Platinum section that was full of CHAIRS. As you can tell i was annoyed with all the chairs. There would be people who get there early and I was in the VIP Platinum section, that would leave their chair, and I was there to stand as you would do at most general concerts to enjoy yourself, then you had no place to stand. They informed us if there was no one there then you can just stand wherever, but when people got back it caused a huge argument. Then to add to that the second night with Luke Combs it was PACKED, and with all the chairs in there, and people pushing up and knocking chairs over I actually got injured from it. Then had to spend the night and last night with an injury to my ankle and that was unpleasant. This was the most unorganized event I have been too, and I got to a lot of concerts and festivals. Then when you would ask someone a question NO ONE knew anything except Justin who helped us greatly. One woman told me she took a 10 minute training, they gave her a shirt, and then she was stuck into the event helping. I asked numerous people questions and got no where. When it came to parking we had to drive around at least 3-4 times because we did not know where to go and when we would stop and ask for a staff person they did not either. Finally someone guided us and was able to help us, and got our bands and parking passes all together, but the last night of parking was awful. We was able to park on our own and it was simple then these people made us park where they wanted us and I told them I could not walk from the other end to the event, but they did not care. It was easy getting out. I believe that for Country Thunder 2020 they need to take all the voices and concerns and make this even better and organized. I came from Tennessee, but I am unsure if I will return due to the set up and lack of knowledge. Overall this was fun to an extent, but the worst set up event I have...

Shortly after arriving at the Country Thunder last Saturday, I sat on a towel on the grassy lawn and was bitten by over 60 fire ants. After being bit, my legs started swelling and I was experiencing difficulty breathing. I found the fire department on golf carts, told them about my symptoms, and they said I would have to find the medic tent. After searching and failing for about 20 minutes, while having trouble breathing with my legs severely swelling, I found a nice gentleman who seemed to work for the event and he escorted me to the medic tent that was not easy to find or properly marked.
I explained to the medics that I was severely bitten, showed them my legs which were swelling immensely, and told them that I was having difficulty breathing. They said all they could do was give me some itch cream and Benadryl and the difficulty breathing was normal for ant bites. I asked if I could go into the trailer to take off and shake off my clothes (as I was still swarming in ants) and they told me no. I asked for some water to take the Benadryl as my friend was holding my wallet and I had no money to buy water and was told no. They just gave me 3 tablets of Benadryl, a tube of itch cream, and sent me away. I repeat, I was having trouble breathing and they sent me on my way.
Shortly thereafter, I began to feel nauseous and lightheaded, and breathing became more difficult. From there fell to the ground and while I could hear everything around me, I was unable to move. After speaking with a medical professional today, I now know this was anaphylactic shock, and I should have been hospitalized immediately.
I have been diagnosed with a severe allergic reaction and Cellulitis, but thankfully I am OK. I am bringing this to your attention as my condition could have been life threatening. I told the emergency personnel, both the fire department and the medics that I was having trouble breathing and was brushed off. This should have been taken seriously. I am fortunate that I was with friends who gave me water and made sure I was safe when I was in a comatose state (they thought I was sleeping from the Benadryl). I am fortunate...
Read moreFirst Eric church is/was amazing the whole reason this was planned. The organizers however leave much to be desired Purchased the "platinum" package for over 1500 for 2 people for the weekend it very clearly said and I called and confirmed that you get 1 water full up and 1 clean out for the rv then apparently when they sold out of the platinum experience they removed all information I called the people actually spoke to a human let her know the water was desperately needed we came with a full tank but refill trick has not been by and guess what she has no idea what i am referring to as only "premier" gets service i explained the platinum experience which is on my receipt but no longer on their site she says let me make some calls and call you back and guess what no call so no water for us today still have over 25 hours here and been out already for about 15 hours...so thank you for this very expensive weekend I had no problem with if everything promised had been provided. My advice buy GA they were all over the reserved area and there is no benefit to paying for any upgrades since you don't get them anyway...not enough trash cans and no one who works here had a map or any idea where the campsites even were. Funnel cakes 12 bucks it was all pretty much a joke..will not do this again matter fact am flying to NC 8n December to see EC with hotel and paid a 3rd of what these swindlers charged for their falsely advertised experience...yes it was an experience a really sad uncomfortable one thanks for the memories country thunder they took we to for the platinum is in the red area row 2 like 3 seats from the aisle next to the runway so basically 2nd row from the front if the Flippin stage. reality reserved area is so far to the left side of the stage could not even see the runway much less get to it. Reserved tickets upwards of 450 each but figured I would be that close..only of o had don general admission for about $80 this had been nothing but a disappointing rip-off supposed 6o by this amazing weekend if not for...
