Our stay was bad starting from the beginning after check in. We went to our first room and our keys didn’t work and had to get new ones made. Then we get in & there are worms on bed and floor. I had to pick up the 4 on the floor and my husband sat on the bed & one was smushed across the pillow case he almost laid his head on. Then there is a huge water bubble above our bed & 2 small ones above the other with ones on the wall by tv. It was squishy to the touch I didn’t want it to explode on bed well sleeping so went to tell them they said it was old but my dad and uncle ran a construction company by touch you could tell if poked water would of cane out. I went down stairs to let them know, Matthew (manager) came out, when talking to Shelly at front desk, he asked me, “How long is your stay, when do you leave?” I replied Monday, & he then looked at the female employee helping me at front desk standing next to younger well dressed man in a suit jacket holding colorful pen in jacket pocket(when u walk into lobby they were at the check in desk facing the doors they were standing @ computer on left) and Matthew then stated, “Comp their whole stay $1100 & move them to another room, in which she relied, “I already moving the them room to upstairs, I have it taken care of.” I asked if it’s still facing the pool and she answered yes. She then repeated to me saying I have you moved, crediting $1100 when you check out but have to hold $50 a night until check out!” When they moved us to a room directly above on second floor only to get up there and keys didn’t work. My husband went downstairs again got new keys. During this a maintenance/room service man walked by in which I explained what happened he tried with his main room keys and they didn’t work either. He realized the Main lock mechanism was dead, called in another maintenance guy to come in which they had to completely take apart the door handle & lock off the door in order to even get in (at that point we had sat there for another 45 minutes in the heat, unable to get in the room until they could fix battery inside). My husband got back to us during time with 8 bags between luggage & backpacks in hallway them trying to fix it to have go back down to get it reprogrammed. This room had whole in wall nasty bathroom & dirty floor feet turned black had wear socks whole time. When showering the water barely came out so much calcium build up and not water pressure & shower curtain not long enough water soaks the floor every time someone showers using all our normal towels to clean up 4+ per a day which is ridiculous. Fast forward to check out only to find out they are only crediting us $100 not the $1100. This hotel room is not worth over $300 a night. Then an hour later the manager called my husbands phone and asked couple questions then stated to him “we are crediting you the $1100 for your stay we apologize.” Multiple times we had to get our keys reprogrammed during 4 days to get in our room; one time unable to change our clothes from the beach to go to dinner which is ridiculous we had deal with that on top of everything else! When we checked out he was very use would not even look me in the eyes & lied arguing with us stating he never said that which is complete lie. For a manager he handled it very unprofessional arguing with us when a professional service industry manager would have apologized not argue and at least held up his original promise. I will not ever recommend this hotel to anyone ever!! Between horrible customer service handling this & the nasty, unclean, dusty, broken down, janky rooms- not worth the money not even half of what they charge. We travel a lot and in a lot of different hotels and I will never come back to that hotel. Instead of lying and only taking $100 off which was only 1/11th off after all that Matthew should of kept his word & needs to have some training in managerial skills before he should be allowed in that position no eye contact or anything which proves he was lying -body language, eye contact is everything in a...

Our party of 6 adults and 2 children ate at rum runners for breakfast. I asked if they could accommodate a gluten allergy safe and I was assured they could. I ordered breakfast and when my food came out there were fried potatoes on my plate. I brought this to our waitresses attention and so she called the kitchen came back and told me to eat around the potatoes. I politely informed her that this would still make me sick as the potatoes were all over my other food. (In my eggs there were pieces of potatoes.) She seemed annoyed and took my food back to the kitchen. After my party finished eating my food came back out with what I assume is a manager. She sat the food down and I could immediately tell it was the exact same eggs (holes in the eggs where the potatoes were). I asked the assumed manager and she got an attitude stating she watched these eggs get cooked. I sat there not eating these eggs or the other food and over walked our server. She asked what’s wrong now, and I explained that I wasn’t confident that these are different eggs. She then stated well we cooked those a second time so they should be fine. I am sensitive enough that this cross contamination could have sent me to the hospital. Some people just aren’t aware of celiac but after being informing them, this seems more like pure laziness and negligence...
Read moreWe sat outside on the patio. The waiter showed up pretty quickly to take our drink order and returned with them quickly. We ordered the nachos a few minutes later. After about 45 minutes later the waiter came back and we were able to order dinner. Now I have to say the restaurant wasn't overly busy and the wait staff was standing around behind the bar talking ALOT. My wife ordered a burger and sweet potato fries, I ordered a grouper sandwich and fries. We waited and waited and waited. Finally after 45 minutes we asked about our food. Another server brought it out to us and advised my plate was hot. Uh, yeah, because it had been sitting under the heat lamp for at least 30 minutes. The bun was rock hard. I took one bite and the fish was 'off'. At this point I was already irate and it wasn't worth sitting there longer to talk to a manager or have them remake my dinner. Especially if we had to wait another 45 minutes. My wife just got a box and brought her burger home as we'd already been there far longer than we had anticipated and still had a ride home on the motorcycle.
It's a shame. We've eaten there several times before and had a really good experience each time. I wish I could say it was due to them being busy, but they weren't. And it doesn't account for the fish being bad or it sitting under the heat lamp...
