We stayed the night here after coming in on a late flight. The hotel is clustered in with the group of hotels convenient to the airport. The staff was very nice and personable, helping us to feel right at home. The rooms are quiet and insulated, at least we did not notice any sounds from our neighboors. (Note that every room was occupied due to a huge convention in SLC). Breakfast was good, consisting of scrambled eggs, ham, oatmeal, a few cereal selections, yogurt, and the typical bread/bagel/muffin options. The rooms were orderly, but the hotel does seem a little aged. There was no ice machine on our floor (probably out for repairs), so we had to go to another floor to get ice. The hallways were also very stuffy and warm, but at least the room temperature control worked great. Finally, we stayed a little longer the next morning before heading home. Read moreThis Rodeway Inn was the worst experience I'd ever had at a hotel. 1. Reservation was lost. Took thirty minutes to sort it out with the help of Priceline. 2. Unhelpful lobby attendant. It's like she was a deer in the headlights. 3. Broken entrance door 4. Had to change rooms after the first room had an overwhelming smoke smell. 5. Second room had a bed so unstable they bucked you off. 6. Air conditioner sounded like a jet engine. Had to keep it on because the room would have easily reached over 80 degrees. We'll never stay at this...
