I've been waiting to try the Blackberry Walnut and the Peach Walnut Cobbler. These flavors are incredible! Rita called me to make sure I knew these flavors have a different consistency than the others like Southern Pecan. These flavors have fruit in them which of course has a higher water content. Someone said it might be "soggy" but in my opinion they are not! I've never had a business owner call me and make sure I'm okay with what I've ordered after I've already ordered it! She is amazing! She truly cares! I ordered 1 box and after I ordered the 1 box I decided I wanted to order another box. She refunded me the 2nd shipping fee I would've paid! This just shows how amazing she is! I feel like most people wouldn't do that! Every order I've had has been perfect! The flavor is phenomenal, the packaging is beautiful, and above all the customer service excellent! I will always buy my baklava from Rita! She is what makes this so special! THANK YOU! 💖

This is the first review I did about 7 months ago: Sheer Ambrosia baklava is the best I've ever had! The taste is phenomenal! I ordered the traditional honey walnut and my mystery 4 pack was butterscotch rum walnut. The packaging is beautiful! The customer service is excellent! I'm going to be a lifelong customer! If you LOVE baklava you should order some now! With every shipped order you get a 4 pack of a mystery flavor! She does this because she charges $14 for shipping. The value of the package of 4 is $13. So shipping is really only $1! It's awesome that she does this! They handcraft your order the day before to allow for cooling and rest before packaging and shipping your baklava the next morning! I’ve ordered from Rita at Sheer Ambrosia before (to DC) and already knew her baklava was hands-down the best I’ve ever had—but nothing could have prepared me for the joy of meeting her in person!

I was in Salt Lake City celebrating my little sister’s graduation from dental school and when I Googled, I saw that Sheer Ambrosia now had a retail space and I just had to to check it out! I didn’t realize it was order-by-pickup/appointment only, but the universe was clearly smiling on us because Rita was there, and she had just enough leftover baklava for my family and me to buy. It felt like fate.

Not only did she greet us with free samples (while we drooled and waited for our fresh baklava to be packaged), she shared her incredible story with us, asked about ours, and made us feel so seen and special. She gifted my sister a beautifully wrapped box of baklava, a ceramic campfire mug, and a handwritten note—a handwritten note! Who does that?! Rita does!

Sheer Ambrosia doesn’t just make world-class baklava (seriously—crispy, buttery, rich, and layered with love)—it’s a reflection of the beautiful human behind it. We received a box of Sheer Ambrosia’s walnut baklava when we had a house guest from the Salt Lake City area. The gift was an unexpected surprise but boy were we thrilled! Despite traveling in a suitcase, the triangles of baklava were still in perfect condition. The layers were still crunchy sweet and the fresh walnuts were chopped so evenly. Every bite was heaven. Because it was a box of 12 pieces we were “forced” to share with several visitors and everyone exclaimed that it truly was the best tasting baklava they had ever tried. The individual pieces are large enough you can have your sweet tooth cravings satisfied. It didn’t seem to matter weather we enjoyed a piece on the first day we opened the box or several days later, it was moist and flakey! A true treat in every sense of the word. Although we do not live in Utah, we will definitely order from Sheer Ambrosia for all our gift giving needs! Thank you Rita for putting your heart and soul into this dessert, your finished...
