This Drury location is one of the best, most helpful hotels I've ever been to. Everything about it was amazing, but the service was really what stood out.

Visit details: I was traveling with my brother and mom; we stayed for 5 days, then our flight back was canceled, so we went back and stayed one more night.

First of all, it's literally 5 minutes from the airport, which is super convenient, and it's about a 15-minute drive into the city. However, you will be sad to read that the nearest Buc-ee's is, unfortunately, a 40-minute drive north of the hotel 😢. Location: 5/5 stars, 97/100.

Next: Rooms. Our room included 2 queen size beds, a nice bathroom, an additional sink, a fridge and microwave, and a small living area. The living area included a pull-out couch, a cozy armchair, and a leg rest. There are also small corner "tables" with lamps and outlets dotted about. The rooms are very clean and reasonably priced. The shower temperature is always perfect, and it heats up to the desired temp quickly. One thing to keep in mind: if you stay in a similar room with 2 or more people, you will want to ask for an additional bar of soap for the sink outside of the bathroom, as it is way more efficient for getting ready. Rooms: 5/5 stars, 99/100

Additional information: The hotel has FREE breakfast and dinner (6:00-9:30am and 5:30-7:00pm). They rotate meals for dinner, but not breakfast (yet there is pretty much any breakfast food you need, so it doesn't matter that much). We all decided the food was great. Also during this time, adults can have up to 3 alcoholic beverages, including beer and margaritas (free). From 4-8pm every day, you can get unlimited popcorn and soda from their respective places: the popcorn machine is by the front desk, and the soda fountain is in the dining room. For parking, they have their own covered ramp, and the code changes every Sunday@noon.

Service: BY FAR, the best aspect of this hotel is the service. The staff are so nice and helpful, going out of their way for everything. Meals are buffet-style, but staff offer take your plates for you when you are done. When our flight back got canceled, we called, and they sent out a shuttle to come get us. At midnight. The first time we thought we were leaving, they held our bags for us and tagged them specifically so we could come back later for retrieval. Service: 5/5 stars, 100/100.

Overall: 5/5 stars, 98.5/100, would DEFINITELY stay again. Thank you so...

My family and I regularly visit San Antonio and always use Drury Inn & Suites whenever possible. I enjoy the convenience its provides for my family and I.

This time didnt go completely as planned but the attentiveness of the manager can be commended.

I booked a stay at this particular location as they had availability for the Oversized King Suite at a discounted rate using the vacation package on the Drury website; With a family of 6 this definitely would give us plenty of space.

We arrived at the hotel around 2pm, which is a little earlier than check in, but we had already done a couple of things around town so we wanted to see if the room might be ready after a 3 hour drive from Houston.

The check-in process was easy as usual.

We unpacked the car and made our way up to the room and discovered that the room was the regular king suite. Still a great room but the reservation was for an oversized and the price reflected that. I went back down and let the front desk know. I was told that the room was overbooked. Something I wish I would have known before when I initially checked in. I was offered a discounted rate. After some thought I took it.

Later that afternoon I got on the website and contacted Drury and voice my disappointment in the reservation I made since I was unable to get the room I booked. I figured no one would really pay it any mind and move on only to have an email reach me days later. That is not what happened.

At around 530pm I got a got a call and subsequently a voicemail stating it was Carmen the Manager at the Drury. She informed me she had read the email and was going to discount my rate and that she would like to meet me at the front desk to discuss the issue either that evening or the next morning. I did not receive the message until later so I figured I could come by in the morning before we left. Carmen was kind enough to offer her business card and ensured me that in the future she would love to help us book the room directly through her.

I respect that she was attentive and courteous. I'm sure there are situations where some complaints just fail to the wayside but it was refreshing to see someone that was at least willing to reach out to a disappointed customer and actually...

2024-Sept.

We arrived one hour before the designated check-in time. The personnel at the front desk were courteous and efficient, facilitating a prompt check-in process.

A parking tag was provided to us, granting access to complimentary parking in the designated areas, including the parking garage adjacent to the building. A pedestrian bridge conveniently connects the garage to the building on the third level.

We received our room keys and beverage cards, which are exclusively provided to individuals above the age of twenty-one within our group.

The lobby area was well-maintained and offered ample seating options. The spacious breakfast and dinner areas can comfortably accommodate a large number of guests. Additionally, there is a restroom conveniently located on this floor.

Several elevators were conveniently situated throughout the building.

Our room was adequately sized and well-maintained. The bathroom, however, was rather cramped. The sink, located outside the bathroom, offered limited space for toiletries.

Our room featured a king-size bed, multiple lamps with electrical outlets, a flat-screen television with a diverse channel selection (please refer to the attached photos for the channel lineup), a full-length mirror, a closet, a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea, a mini-fridge, an ice bucket, a desk with an office chair, and an additional chair.

The bathroom was equipped with three sets of towels (body, face, and hand), a hairdryer, and wall-mounted dispensers for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

The outdoor pool operates until 10 pm and appears to be slightly heated. Its maximum depth is 5 feet. The hot tub, though somewhat small, provides powerful jets.

The breakfast provided an impressive array of hot and cold food and beverage options. The staff demonstrated a consistently positive and helpful attitude when responding to inquiries or requests for assistance.

The 5:30 Kickback dinner snack was particularly noteworthy. Please refer to the attached photographs (neon pink paper) for the menu.

In summary, I highly recommend this hotel and anticipate that you will have an...

This hotel is great! We PCSed in and stayed here for two weeks. So close to a lot of things that we needed to do. Front desk staff and restaurant staff were amazing! Breakfast and dinner were included. You get 3 drinks a night and they had a craft beer included too, not just some cheap beer. Breakfast is the same everyday for 2 weeks so there were days we went out. Dinner was a random rotation of meatballs and mash, pasta and chicken, and sliders a lot. If you're staying for a few nights, okay, but it gets old after a week. I could think of low cost meals that are also delicious. One thing I'm not very happy about is the housekeeping. Something needs to be done. We were told by reception to let them know if we needed to service the room the night before. Simple instructions. But then housekeeping kept knocking on our door asking for service. And they kept coming back to service the room. So we left the door hanger outside the room so they wouldn't bother us. Last few days, housekeeping just left a stack of towels on the bench. Did not take out trash or make the beds. Last night, they left a note saying there were things on the bed and they couldn't make the bed. But they didn't touch the trash nor did they take the old towels. They simply placed a stack of towels on the bench AGAIN! We complained, the guy gave us a huuuge trash bag and told us to put all the trash in the bag and leave it outside the door and he'll come to get it. He did not come to get it because it was still there the next morning. Got a call from the front desk while everyone including my baby was sleeping saying guests are complaining about the trash. The ring was really loud, baby woke up and cried for a while. Terrible! You can't make the book all pretty on the outside but messed up in the stories. You guys need a new housekeeping manager ASAP! If you have time to write the note and leave it in our room, you can use that time to take the trash out. No joke. Not coming back because of this.

We stumbled across this hotel by chance and I'm so glad we did! Our friends had already booked months prior for the eclipse and birthday celebrations. By the time I had the opportunity to book our family, rooms were severely overpriced. We wanted to stay near them and researched this hotel. For a family of 4, the rate, spacious room, amenities and the free breakfast/dinner and drinks were a no brainer. Staying in this hotel saved us a huge amount of money by eating at the hotel. The breakfast and dinners were plentiful and the always on menu hot dogs, nachos, salads made it an easy compromise if the kids didn't like the rotating menu. The drinks were a big winner for us parents after a long day of sightseeing and crowds and they were even kind enough to nake shirley temples for my oldest. We had a suite and appreciate the split floor plan so if the kids went to bed early, we could close the door and relax for a while and the 2 TVs helped as well so that kids/adults had programs. The entire staff was so welcoming! From Ty the valet/grounds to Fabian and Rafael in the dining hall everyone was pleasant and seemed to enjoy interacting with the guests. I felt at ease and relaxed while in the hotel. You have our family sold on the Drury Hotels branf for all future travels! We will always check to see if a Drury is there first!! Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay!
