If i could leave a negative 20 stars, I would, but since I can't, I will explain my dissatisfaction with this motel. For the price, which isn't even expensive, it is too much. No toilet paper, no clean sheets, and the mattress covers were atrocious. Luckily, I brought my own towel and had flushable wipes with me. The floor was so dirty I could not walk barefoot. I had to wear socks the entire time I was inside. The shower was clean, but the toilet seat would not go up and stay up, so my husband had to pee sitting down, and even then, the lid would fall toward and hit him in the back. Then when it came time to check out the deposits they made me give them ($10 for a TV remote, $5 for a room key, and $30 because I had my registered service dog with me) was not returned in full because they said that the latch that locked the door from the inside was looser then it was before. The trim around the door had recently been replaced and was not caulked and sealed, and the latch was attached to that wood. Of course, the latch will loosen when the board it is attached to is not properly attached to the door frame. So they kept $30 of my dog money for the latch. My dog is about 12 pounds and had nothing to do with that latch. The room was cleaner than when I arrived in it two nights prior since I had to dust EVERYTHING so my husband would stop sneezing. This place already overcharges with its rate and then to charge for remotes and keys and really anything you might need that generally comes with a room. So, for 2 nights, I spent 127 dollars to stay in a room that was below standard. The entire experience lacked any kind of customer service, and it's located in a very, very shady, and in a scary part of town. I saw prostitutes and drug deals happen right on this property. I could hear sex being had all night, and the loud music was ridiculous. When the office was notified, they laughed and said, "Just go to sleep, you won't hear it:!!" OMG, no breakfast, no good TV, no good motel. Save your money. You're better off camping. I hope they 30 bucks were worth it. Greedy mofos!! Better get that door latch tightened... PS....if you look at any of my previous reviews, 99% of them are having positive reviews. Too many people only review to be mean. I'm not like that, but when people take advantage of their customers because they can, I find it pathetic and appalling and downright dirty business practices. I needed that deposit back so I could take care of my business, and they had absolutely no regard for my economic situation. I hope this helps people to make a better choice to give their hard earned money to people who appreciate it and appreciate you staying in their establishment. This is absolutely disgusting business...
Read moreCheap price gets you a cheap hotel room. Not a bad location in downtown San Antonio, close to restaurants and the Alamodome (where I needed to be) but the room and service let it down. The bedding was covered in burn holes, fridge didn’t work, the floor was completely tiled (making it dirty and slippery in wet weather), the walls had marks and the towels had some stains. Note before you book: they will ask for a $15 deposit at check in ($10 for tv remote and $5 for the key). Although mine was refunded in a couple days, it wasn’t noted at...
Read moreI stayed here for a night when I was in town for Fiesta. This place was clean and simple. The ladies I spoke with while checking in and out were polite and friendly. The place is located less than a mile from market square which is where the big event was. The room was clean and like others have said, quiet. I would definitely stay here again. It was perfect for I needed. I also love the mirrors along all the walls around the...
