I had an unplesant interaction with Dulce and Laisha. I was there returning merchandise that was defective. The garment had tags and I had the receipt. The sweater I bought my husband to wear for Christmas Day was missing a button. They checked the sweater inside out like trying to find a reason not to return it. Then she came up with the excuse that she couldn’t accept it because I bought it a a different location. I asked to speak to a manager and did not grant my request. The manager never showed her face and these two ladies were extremely rude in front of my 2 year old daughter. This is not the interaction I would want my daughter to witness and I hope this never happens again to anyone here. This Marshalls instead of issuing my refund due of $6.46 they charged me $6.46 I was so embarrassed as I didn't have it so I tried to not go over my refund credit amount. Still was surprised to see that I still owed a balance of which I paid $2.36 cash and $4.10 on my debit card . Once I arrive home I looked at my receipt and realized the mistake. I called the store. They said I needed to go back and show my receipt. Well I live in downtown San Diego and traveling by trolley and bus not worth the bus fare an the time it would take. They have a copy of my receipt if they cared to make it right they would've looked for it and fixed the issue without me having to be present. Not a good experience. The cashiers are rude and did not help me with my return. I told them I had purchased those very same socks two days before and they cost me 9.99 and since they did not have a price tag they sold them to me for 12.99. I even showed them a picture and they still refused to fix the price. So I ended up returning them and got my money back. I ended up buying the same socks at Tj Max for 9.99.
