Castro Hotel — Hotel in San Francisco

I stayed here for a year and it is such a lovely place. It is in the heart of North beach, all the beautiful spots in SF are walking distance. Before moving in, I checked out many other shared living places but there were a lot of weird people. I needed something within my budget but the other ones were not worth the risk. But good news Castro Hotel is super safe and affordable. They hand pick the best tenants, so many of them are so sweet, I will miss them. This place seemed just fine at first, especially considering the price and the location. However, after a few days I was attacked by bed bugs and everything changed. The manager sprayed my room for bugs, but it didn't solve the problem. I started to keep an eye out, and found bugs crawling in the common areas of the hotel. Even though the infestation was obvious, the owners denied it, saying that I must have brought them into the room. I moved out ASAP, washed my belongings, and didn't have any more bed bug problems.
