Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Santa Monica

I don't even know where to begin. Let's start with the overwhelming smell of urine as soon as we walked thought the door. Bad enough to make you gag. That was it for me, my appetite was gone. But my son was starving after a 7 hour flight and a full day exploring the beaches, so in we went. The menu was almost exactly like Burger Kings, except I think there were also Mexican food options as well. The service was about the only good thing - the person who took our order was really nice, and the food came out in a decent amount of time. We took everything to go, and headed across the street to our hotel. And this is where it all falls apart. In the time it took us to get over there, the whipped cream on the milkshakes had completely melted (it was about 55-60° outside), and the shakes themselves were not very good. Also, it's impossible to drink a milkshakes through a PAPER STRAW!!!! Thank God they gave us cheap wooden spoons. So we left those and my kid moved onto his food. The fries were exactly like McDonald's, thin and stringy, but with ZERO salt. Who tf makes fries with no salt? Who eats them? This is crazy to us, like, how do you even eat them without salt?!?! He's still expressing his disgust and confusion about this days later. So then he gets to the nuggets, and I'm just done. These things were tiny, almost perfectly round little nuggets. 8 of them that were about the size of 4 regular ones, almost exactly like the little things Wendy's serves. But with worse breading and less flavor, if that's even possible. He ended up tossing almost the entire meal, shakes included. We'd never been to a Jack In The Box before, and I can 100% say we'll never go back...

Imagine a Fallout version of true convenience when ordering your food! 🙃 It has been awhile since I witnessed a blatant disregard for hours of operation and so many unprofessional practices by a so called individual responsible for associate training... Always check your orders!!!! They are being trained for failure. The business loses tons of money every time she runs that place into the ground. Not to mention is raising incompetence.... 🙄 Wendy Copperbottom is the name obtained reluctantly only the First name is true. The Last let's say fits that!¿ A poor excuse yet great example of incompetence. Does not adhere to Business hours of operation costing unknown losses! Can not properly adhere to posted company standards.Is unable to keep condiments stocked. Yes! bring your own¿ 😤 Not to mention almost had several patrons witness her nearly get into a physical altercation with her great business practices. A pleasure avoiding that monstrosity of a restaurant when left to...

Service here is very irritating if you don't speak Spanish. The language barrier is real. Two tacos and a Jr jumbo jack no cheese. I got two tacos nothing but lettuce inside because they scraped out the cheese and a jumbo jack with cheese. Blew my mind lol

I also feel like the quality of patron here is kind of garbage it's a little ironic to see people crying about uplifting the community while at the same time complaining that there are homeless people asking for food. One could argue that uplifting the community consists of helping the homeless in Santa Monica I mean didn't the city receive millions in funding to do that? I couldn't help but notice immediately after they received those fundings though the City board received pay raises no doubt for all the hard work...
