Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Santa Monica

Everyone read this horrible experience that describes how BAD this Chick fil A at 2207 Lincoln Blvd is! I ordered here yesterday through the drive thru around 10pm. I ordered the same order I get at every Chick fil A, two chicken cool wraps but instead of grilled cold chicken I asked for warm, sliced FRIED chicken. The manager Vanessa and the worker Kenneth in the drive thru said that they don't give fried chicken in those (lie). I specifically told them that I have been to over 50 Chick fil A locations and they all accommodate by giving me fried chicken instead of the cold chicken.

They said they would put the fried chicken on the side then and when I asked what the total for the order would be they said it would be a WHOPPING $35!!!!!!! I said how is that possible?! And Kenneth told me that they charged me $7 for each filet that they added on the side so $14 extra on top of the price of the cool wrap which is $9 each so $18. This is OUTRAGEOUS and normally other Chick fil A's don't charge anything extra they just put the fried chicken in place of the cold chicken. When I asked why, Kenneth even tried to say that "Fried chicken is more expensive than grilled chicken and that was their policy" (even though it is not). They were all lying about the Chick fil A policies and tried to charge me WAY over what the price of two cool wraps is ($35 instead of $18)!!! I told them to cancel the order for the rude service and for them making up policies that were not even policies of Chick fil A!!

To prove my point I drove down the street (5 mins) to another Chick fil A in Marina Del Ray ON THE SAME STREET 4050 Lincoln Blvd!! I ordered THE EXACT SAME ORDER the grilled cool wrap with fried chicken and guess what?! Low and behold, the extremely nice employee says "Sure I can make that for you!" and my order came out to the price of a regular cool wraps $18! We even told her about what they tried to do to us at the other Chick fil A down the street and she shook her head in disbelief and apologized for the way they were acting there. She even said "That is NOT a policy of Chick fil A!!!" So the other Chick fil A was LYING and in the end I got my fried chicken inside of the grilled cool wrap!

Dear Mr. Eddie Brown,

When Southern’s or any humans visits this restaurant; we could live without Cindy’s snappiness in the morning. As I told Mariana m, today is the day the lord made, & we all should be rejoicing & glad in it. Visited this location after losing a relative aka NC native & all I wanted was a biscuit… I asked for a extra soft biscuit instead I was given a flat dough looking bread that looked like it used to be a biscuit. I asked the window person for another biscuit ; only to be told in a stern voice by “Cindy” ; it was just made. It was a simple biscuit & all I wanted was a soft savory biscuit to remind me of home aka NC.

I decided to drive to the next Chick-fil-A at 4050 Lincoln blvd after visiting the Chick-fil-A in Santa Monica & the biscuit at 4050 Santa Monica location was sooooo amazing I had to order another one right after the first one. Lesson learned drive a little further down Lincoln for the best Chick-fil-A biscuits in California. I ordered a $96 order for a party. It was a catering order and we had called it in 6 hours in advance for a 6:30 pick up time that night. We called 5 times before we arrived to make sure it was ready and didn’t receive an answer. We arrived at 6:45 and were told it was being prepared. We stood at the window for 30 mins and our order finally came out at 7:15 as we watched many customers come and go. I spoke to the manager and he said that they were busy - no apology made to us. They handed the order to us, and because it was so big we couldn’t look through all of it. We ordered 170 nuggets and they did not include the 8oz sauce that is guaranteed on their website. Terrible. It was a surprising experience considering that chick fil a is considered to have decent customer service. They were not apologetic nor did they do anything to make up for the fact that our order came out 30 mins after we arrived (and had a scheduled pick up time, etc.) I would avoid this location, there are many...
