Snowy Mountain Inn — Hotel in Saratoga

Giving 3 stars for two reasons. Flew in late and the airport didn’t leave a courtesy car as they planned to do, so getting to the silver moon motel was interesting. Once we got there late, they had omitted to put the door code on email, so I had to wake the owner/manager to let us in. The email states that if there is no door code, to get the keys. Door definitely was keyless with a code, but we didn’t get the code, which just made our evening even more difficult. Second, the vast majority of the place was clean, but the bathroom very obviously had not been cleaned….black hairs everywhere in the tub and on the bathroom sink/vanity. The coffee cups still had dried coffee on the insides. When you see visual cues that the room isn’t clean, it makes you worry about the rest of the place even if it looks okay. Our room was obviously updated, but the janitor after the previous tenant, didn’t do such a great cleaning job.

Edit: why yes, you did host me in suite 6. I was the late check in on September 23rd and check out on the morning of the 24th….just this past weekend. I know that you don’t have a shuttle, but we came to stay at your motel after we had experienced a bad situation at the airport in Saratoga, Wy, only to finally make it to your motel to another disheveled situation and dirty bathroom. Your room was great in comparison to many others in Saratoga, but I would suggest hiring someone who will actually clean the suite well after it has been used and making sure you’re astride of your bookings/ reservations, and check-ins. I have stayed in most of the accomidations Saratoga has to offer, and this one takes the prize. ||||I had stayed at the Silver Moon quite a bit in the pre-covid days as it was the best set up for extended stays. It was always good, but the property was aging and in need of a refresh.||||Boy let me tell you, this place is REFRESHED. I booked an extended stay room that must have just come out of renovation. I may have been the first person to use the room.||||The Kitchenette was well thought out with most things you could need, the fridge even has an ice maker.||||The beds were so comfy, I had the best sleep I've had in years on the road, well on the road at least. ||||The TV, HUGE, I'm not kidding when i say it was at least 65" possibly 75" and to make it even better it was a roku tv that automatically signed me out of my services on check out. Traditional sattilite tv was also an option.||||I will be back, even for the simple overnight trips this is my...
