This food truck prepared the most delicious meal I've had in some time. I had no idea what I was ordering when I ordered Gorditas Adobada, so I will attempt to describe them hopefully in a way that will appeal to others. Three so-called white corn tortillas are topped with a mixture of roasted pork and spicy sauce, grilled onions, cheese, and avocado slices. There is a selection of tasty salsas available on a shelf, but none of these are necessary for this dish, as it is perfectly prepared. I'm not sure why the tortilla label is applied, but I'm also not sure what else to call them, but in my experience, a tortilla is a flat (unleavened) corn bread that provides the structure for a taco or burrito. These are nearly 1/2 inch thick leavened hand formed delicacies about 4 inches in diameter each. Try them, you will not be disappointed. Also, if you want to sample the tamales, arrive early as they tend to disappear quickly.
Thanks to my son for the slight detour in the Home Depot...
Read moreHave yet to dine, have picked up several orders.
If you wanna order food from them, I would suggest afternoon or before 5 or 6pm.
Whenever you order, it's worth the wait. Eevrytime I pick up, there are several people in line and a people waiting to pick up.
THEY ARE BUSY BUSY and there's usually only 2 people working through all that.
Idk if they do desayunos but I would have no problem waiting even during their busiest hours. The parking sitch is acceptable (it's in the parking lot of a home depot but you could get lucky and find a spot near the truck).
Even if you are queued, if you order in person, they give you a buzzer that let's you know when your food is ready. Otherwise they have a designated area for pickups: it's a social space, they have a solid playlist and the ambienxe is muy autentico 👌
This is all based on picking up orders from this spot over the last year, seeing it in various seasons.
Personally, I can't wait for the chance to...
Read moreTen to fifteen years ago there was maybe one taco/burrito place in Seattle with good food. Now there is Camion. I've lived most of my life and eaten hundreds of tacos and burritos within 40 miles of where the Mission burrito was invented, and also eaten numerous tacos in Mexico at places no tourist ever goes. Camion is THE REAL DEAL. I've sampled several things on their menu so far and every one was tasty and filling. The burrito was so big my ravenous 21 yo son had difficulty finishing it. Sauces are spicy and delicious, my favorite is a creamy sauce made from dried red chiles. They are also fast and friendly and very well priced. I give them🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (for overall quality not spiciness - none of their dishes are particularly spicy. Add your own level of heat with the sauces).
Last visit I had the mulita (shown here half eaten to reveal the contents) with cochinita pibil, a tender shredded pork from the...
