When the GM lady is working, things tend to get done properly, but once the GM isn't there the entire place goes to hell really, really fast. The staff there are awful at their jobs when the GM is out. If I show up and don't see her around, it is a guarantee that my food will NOT be made properly.
I worked for Pizza Hut for years, and even for the specific franchise company (Rage Adminstration and Marketing) that currently operates this location, and I know how Pizza Hut quality standards work. If you hold your thumbs and index fingers together in a triangle and hold that triangle over any section of the pizza, the cheese and toppings should be distributed about the same regardless of where your triangle is placed. I frequently get pizzas that are missing half the cheese, pizzas that were extremely obviously cooked on "emergency-proofed" (thrown in the proofer frozen rather than food-release sprayed and refrigerator thawed first as you're supposed to do) hand-tossed dough and not even allowed to proof all the way, missing toppings that I paid for, and pizzas that are not cut all the way through which is the height of laziness since they have the wonderful rocker blade cutters rather than rolling cutters used at other places.
The bottom line is that this place is a cesspool of horrible staff that have zero hustle and clearly don't give a damn about doing their jobs correctly if the person with firing power isn't babysitting them. I have had some truly impressive pizzas so I know that they CAN produce proper product, but I have lost all faith in the place. I feel very bad for the GM because I have discussed these matters with her before and from what I can glean, the franchise company has her over a barrel, powerless to do the things that need to be done. Regardless, I will no longer be coming back to this place due to the high chance of receiving a poor product and the fact that competitors can produce consistently good product. It...
Read moreDate Wed August 28,2021. We ordered a deep dish and wings. The pizza had to be ordered 3 different times. The manager was very polite, no issues there. The issue is that the pizza's that we got were nothing close to the deep dish crust. This crust looked like a standard pizza crust. Soft and plyable like a regular pizza. I fear that they were not using enough oil in the pan. I called another pizza hut and explained the issue. They said that it sounded like they were not putting enough oil in the deep dish pan. Normally 3 servings of oil is used from the pizza hut dispenser into the deep dish pan. The oven has to be hot enough to basically fry the dough as it is baking. If enough oil is not used the crust will basically be like a regular pizza. I think this is the issue at hand not enough oil or not a high enough temp, or a combination of both. This is the first issue I have ever had at this store. Again, the manager was very polite. Hopefully the issue will be corrected and the great deep dish pizza that has been enjoyed for so long from Siler City Pizza Hut can be...
Read moreCalled and placed an order before they closed. Waited for the order for damn near an hour. Then a lady calls named Kylie (claiming to be a manager) waits until the place is closed saying they couldn’t get a DoorDash driver and never made the food. So instead of calling and giving us an option to pick it up she made the decision for us and canceled our order. I asked her what she was going to do about this and she tells me I can call corporate and that’s about it. Really???? That’s how a manager handles a situation that is clearly on her?? The level of unprofessionalism that this “so called” manager displayed blows my mind. There are so many ways she could have handled this but she didn’t care. She was ready to go home and only thinking of herself. We would have came and got the order if we were given the chance. Never...
