We have made the Springfield Drury Inn our hotel of choice for our annual trip for our great nephew's birthday. ||The location of the hotel right off of I-44 and Glenstone is easy to get to. It is on the far northern side of the city but if you are primarily doing things on this side of the city it's a great location.||They featured a great breakfast selection in the morning and small dinner with three free adult beverages per night from 530-7. They have something for everyone and if you can't find something there are tons of near by dinning options. They also have free freshly popped popcorn in the evenings.||We reserved one of the king two room suites with a jetted tub in the bathroom. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds could use a little heavier comforter but it was ok.||They have a great pool and hot tub. The hot tub was recently replaced and we found this one was easier to get in and out of than the old style was. Hotel also has a fitness center with treadmills and some dumbbells.||Despite being under renovation right now we found the hotel to be clean and experienced minimal disruptions due to the construction. They start work around 8a and go til about 5p. You will hear a little noise now and then. We had a crew working directly above us and it really wasn't bad at all. The crew is using the far elevator in the hotel to take construction items upstairs so you will find a little dust in there but really not bad.||The staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our room that I reported when I checked out. I expected that when I reported it that they would just do the typical we'll pass the information on like I've seen in other hotels. However they had me document the issue and then a manager even called me back on it later that day, on a Sunday. I was extremely pleased with how they handled it. ||Despite the issue which was no fault of the hotel as some things are out of their control, we will definitely be back. We are excited to see what the rooms will look like after the renovations are complete in June. We usually make an annual trip in January but just might have to come back in late June to check it out.||Thank you to the Springfield Drury Inn and Suites! Keep rocking it with your amazing...

Read moreWe always choose Drury Inn & Suites while traveling. This location is conveniently located off of I-44 in the heart of Springfield. It is close to several colleges and downtown. If you are visiting Branson, you are still about an hour away. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed except a smart TV. We usually watch movies on Netflix, so we had to run across the street to buy a cable from Wal-Mart to stream through my phone to the TV.
The staff was friendly and polite. Our room was very clean and stocked with fresh linens. I am very picky about bathroom cleanliness, and they scored a 10/10! Our room was located at the end of the hall on the 3rd floor, 5:30 so it was quiet.
The 5:30 Kickback was wonderful. We had 3 drinks each - Margaritas were the best! My husband is usually a beer drinker, but they only had Bud Light. He opted for the margarita. We have stayed at other locations that offer local beers but not this one. I had the chicken noodle soup with warm bread and a delicious salad. My husband had BBQ sliders, baked beans, and nachos. The food was hot and delicious. The bartender was friendly and made great drinks.
I came down to breakfast at 5:45 AM to drink coffee. Breakfast is served at 7 AM on Saturdays, but they already had coffee, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and grab & go items available. I appreciated that! At 7 AM, they added eggs, potatoes, biscuits, sausage, and gravy. My favorite is the DIY Belgian Waffles.
Thank you for another great...
