Route 66 Pizza Factory — Restaurant in Springfield

Looks like a cool place. Came here to watch Thursday Night Football (on Amazon, so not many places have it). They do. Service is incredibly slow on the back side of the bar. The red head bartender is working her butt off but forgets to look behind her. Another guy, dark skinned with grey/ white hair and bead shows up - seems like just got back from break, takes his jacket off and gets behind the bar like he's going to help. But, he mostly just jokes with people at the front of the bar. Maybe he knows them? He looks at his phone while people need service. I sit hungry, wishing I could order food. Anyway... I eventually flag down the busiest bartender/server - she's doing it all. (just look behind you and include the back of the bar in your hurried frenzy). We can all appreciate someone being busy, just sucks to be ignored. Food finally came, it was pretty good. Service got better for drinks after dinner once some people had left. Bearded guy comes and goes, but adds little value, if any.

Maybe some love for the bartender working her but off while the other guy literally stands around. I hope they're not sharing tips.

Hours later, the dark skinned bearded guy still stands behind the bar and does nothing but joke with a few patrons, while completely ignoring everyone else. If you're not the bartender on duty - get out of the area so we can see who is working. If he is working, he is absolutely awful. Give her all...

I'm in Springfield often for work and Route 66 Pizza Factory has become my one stop shop for food and drinks. Staff is very friendly and attentive and they always make me feel like I'm home away from home. Blaze and Brittany are your go to mixologists when you are here. They can pass as full time wizards with their cocktails they create and partime comedians so you get some laughs along the way. They both create an environment that makes you want to stay for "just one more". Blaze also makes an amazing Blazin' Hot Bloody Mary.
