If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is a joke and I will never go back. The last several months things have progressively worsened and I have lost total faith in this place. The coffee is just good not great although at one point it used to be phenomenal. Lately everytime we go they are out of something. The sandwiches are not consistent. You probably wonder if its all bad, why continue going. Well the answer is that once upon a time I really loved this place. The food was good the experience was good the coffee was amazing and I wanted to give them a chance to get back to that. Its clear to me, that it will take major improvements to return to even good service and good food, let alone great! Visit at your own risk. Today my family and I stopped in to get a quick sandwich and coffee through the drive through. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, we get to the mic to order, my husband asks for a farmhouse and they are out of bacon. We then have to think through the replacement sandwich so he continues with the remaining order while I scan the menu. My husband asks for a different sandwich, immediately after that a gentleman pops on the mic and tells my husband "hey boss we aren't supposed to be taking orders through the drive through right now, we are really backed up inside I'm really sorry, but you can come inside if you like". Let me lead with the fact that he was very apologetic. Thats THE ONLY good thing about the whole experience. So many questions. Why didnt the lady who was taking the order just simply say, "Sorry we have stopped drive through orders"? But more importantly if you aren't supposed to be taking orders through the drive through, then don't!!! We sat in line 20 minutes while they....took orders through the drive through 🤷🏾♀️. Next why begin taking our order if you aren't supposed to take our order? Furthermore, why take the order of the car AFTER our car? And No! We didnt have a large order we had literally asked for one sandwich when the gentleman interrupted and ended the order. Additionally, as stated above he asked us to come inside....but what difference does it make if im in the car or in the store, I'm still a patron that has to be served??? Especially if you then take the order of the car behind me? More questions......Why is there no sign out so patrons don't waste time in line only to be asked to get out of line and come inside or go pound sand, lol! What determined who was asked to come in and who wasnt? Its Sunday, you sell coffee, did you understaff?? I'm laughing because it's just food and we ended up at a great breakfast spot, didnt let the experience ruin our morning, but definitely disappointed that this is the state of my one-time favorite coffee shop. Read moreBetween trying to order the delicious food they have here, I was harassed by the manager that is now on leave. She harassed 2 other customers that day and we all became friends since the incident, because we had never experienced such a 'B' before. There were 2 people in the entire store the first incident. I ordered my food, she was generally nasty and reactive the whole process. I stepped to the side out of the way including 6+ feet from where the next person could order. There was no one waiting at the time. In a nasty voice she said, "sir, I need you to move to the other side designated of the railing," so I did. "I need you to move further back, thanks." I held my contempt and kinda laughed it off. Up comes my new friend Graham. We introduced ourselves after he was berated for calmly waiting next to the coffee machine, which NO one was near nor waiting for. The big woman manager said, "sir, I'm going to have to ask you to step away from the coffee machine." Graham said, "what for? I'm not in anyone's way, there's literally 3 people in here now." I spoke up. I said, "this lady is whacky, don't listen to her. Her heads all screwed up." She replied, "sir, I'm going to have to ask you guys to stop talking." At that point, all bets were off. Me and a couple people started talking about how people are becoming nutty and irrational, like this manager. Completely disconnected from any sense of humanity. Today, Friday July 2nd I had a decent cashier and told her that she's more pleasant than the other woman and I need not say anymore. She replied, "oh, she was pregnant. " and gave me my change. If this is what excuses piss poor customer service at Einstein Bagel, may that woman go pay a visit to Planned Parenthood. Disgusting that this woman was allowed to vent on customers. Read moreUnfortunately I had a bad experience through and through... The girls behind the counter were polite so they get a star for that otherwise I see there being no reason to give any other.... I called to place an order and was unpleasantly surprised to be left on hold for over 8 minutes. After assuming they forgot me I hung up and called back... They had no idea I was left on hold. Great. Already running late on my break at this point... I order my sandwich and it was very awkward as I was not aware there is a preset menu. I was again disappointed that they use butter oil rather than real butter and that I wasn't able to have my eggs made a certain way... Only available in a dry egg patty.... Coming from LI, NY this was a sad day for me. I wanted to cancel my order but they had already made the sandwich soon tried to just stick it up and pay for it anyway. I added a cookie I'm hopes that would replace the poor quality sandwich...
