Disappointing experience. I was given a birthday gift on June 13th with the gift receipt. Went to return the gift on June 26th and was laughed at and told they have a 14 day return policy- no returns or exchanges. This return policy was not on the receipt or website. I decided to wait to call the owner on Tuesday, hoping for some understanding but was told the same thing and told the policy is on all receipts and the terms and condition section of website (it is not). Plus technically, I was returning it within 14 days of receiving it...my friend purchased the gift on 10th June..not exactly my fault. I would of been happy to drive all the way back and simply exchange. Lied about where the policy is displayed, no compromise, and to top things off this item was made in China (not exactly the local made little store they profess to be on the news and social media). Poor business management....

This store is my go to spot to purchase gifts for any occasion. This store for me is like going to Target, you go in for one item and leave with a bunch because everything is so cute. Not to mention the owner is probably one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She’ll go out of her way to help you find the perfect gift, one time she asked me to pull up pictures of my friend so she could see her style and help me select earrings she’d love (which she did) for her birthday. During this pandemic they were filling orders through their social media platforms and made deliveries to houses so people could still surprise their loved ones with gifts for various celebrations that were being missed. I have been going to hazel and dot since conception. The owner is the sweetest most genuine owner of a shop I have encountered. During the pandemic I had a newborn and needed gifts for family and friends and she offered delivery which is unheard of. She goes above and beyond to make everyone she meets feel like she has known them for years! She has the cutest most unique gifts for anyone and any occasion.
