I cannot describe how terrible my experience living at the corner of Brookfield apartments has been. Time after time management disappoints and things get worse. Where to begin...how about the stench of raw sewage that permeates through the hall. There is nothing like walking out of your apartment to the smell of fresh poop in the morning. I don’t know where it comes from or why they do nothing to fix it, but I got sick and tired of gagging every time I smelled it in the morning. Don’t let them fool you with the nice amenities such as the courtyard, theater room, fitness room, or coffee machine. Because when the weekend finally comes around and you’re ready to relax, they close everything. It all closes at 10, even on the weekends. Yep, I have had security guards interrupt my movie on a Friday night at 10 saying I need to leave. What is the point of having a theater room if you close it right when people usually start a movie? And to top it off, want some coffee? Too bad, cause 90% of the time the machine is empty. If you like being woke up at 7 am to the sound of jackhammers and drills, then this is the place for you. There is constant construction throughout the morning that is super loud and consistently woke me up. Now, from what I understand, management and security is supposed to benefit you. They make nothing better. Their sole purpose seems to pester and annoy. From my personal experiences both security guards and management don’t hesitate to tell a lie if it will benefit them. I have lived in over 13 apartment complexes, ranging from $220-$2000 a month (this one being the most expensive). The Corners of Brookfield apartments is by far the worst apartment complex I have lived in, you would be better off in a box. Save yourself while you can and look elsewhere...
Read moreFABULOUS!!! Calling this place my home since almost a year now, and sharing at this moment so I can have enough amount of living experience.
Living experience is made of 2 half, 1 you live within your home and 2nd which is out side your home still connected to your living.
I ll start with Inside Quality starts from door handle, locks, Carpet, hardwood floor, all high end appliances from cooking range to washer dryer, lights and it's accurate placement, furniture with smooth tap closing doors.
You get best view from your balcony and window no matter if it's snow, sun or rain all looks beautiful from your chick comfy home.
Super nice and quite neighbors, amenities like well equipped gym, entertainment room on same or different floor depends on your floor. In case if you find any issues anywhere then maintenance team is very warm and helpful.
When it comes to any sort of support then, Ali and her team including Alex and Erin are super helpful and prompt to resolve query if you have any, they are really nice team a management company and Residents can have.
Only thing can be improved is lift speed ; ) I personally found it slow but I assume must be ok from safety measures.
Now when you are stepping out side your home, You are in lap of finest restaurants, cafe and bar available in the area, best grocery of sendiks on campus and, you have entire mall and boutique shops available on same campus if your wallet feels too heavy : )
When it comes to commute you can imagine how convenient it's when on one side of your campus is i94 and on other side bluemond road.
Certainly recommend...
Read moreI’ve never been more disappointed with an apartment complex than I am with The Corners. My experience with management has been a series of frustrations that reveal a clear pattern: issues are handled inconsistently, with tenants quick to receive notices for minor infractions, yet left in the dark when guidance is needed on more substantial matters.
Over a year ago, I submitted my insurance documents as required, even forwarding confirmation emails directly to the office. Despite this, I was given no notification that anything was missing or incorrect, which led to unnecessary fees that management now refuses to resolve fairly. This selective communication style makes it feel as though The Corners is more interested in collecting fees than working with loyal tenants.
From the beginning, my rent was advertised online at a lower rate than what I was ultimately charged. Since then, I’ve received infraction notices over trivial matters, yet I see other tenants routinely break the same rules without consequence. This inconsistency has left me feeling unfairly targeted, and it has created a living environment that is both frustrating and disappointing.
We’re now actively seeking a new residence, as it’s clear that The Corners does not prioritize or respect its tenants. I would not recommend this complex to anyone who expects fair treatment or reliable communication from management. This has been one of the most disheartening places I’ve...
