Amandine Desserts — Restaurant in Town of Brookfield

I ordered this cake for my daughter’s first birthday and was seriously let down. I paid $60, expecting a professionally finished product — but what I received looked rushed and sloppy. The frosting was uneven, the writing was poorly done and off-center, and the gold leaf looked like it was barely applied. For the price, I expected way better quality and attention to detail. I ordered a week before too so it's not like they didnt have the time to make it presentable.

I used to come here all the time for their little celebration cakes. I used to buy 10 at a time almost every 2 weeks. I was told they longer make them because the price to make them exceeded the cost they were selling them at. But anyways I stopped in there this past Friday and thought they brought the little cakes back. I bought 2 of them and both were stale and the frosting was hard. I also bought a piece of cake that was stale. I bought a 6 pack of macaroons that were undercooked. I spent a total of $52. I did remove a star because the vibe inside was off putting. There was no music or background noise, just awkward silence. The labels on the outside didn’t match the macarons behind it, and when I ordered a Carmel latte, I was asked how many pumps of Carmel they should put in. I have no idea lol, I have never been asked that before. They also charged per pump, not for the added flavor which was odd.
