My husband and I got in here pretty late as we were just looking for somewhere to sleep on our road trip. We were quoted $158. Fine. We had walked in and there was a man there, very nice. Probably the best experience we had even though he genuinely was just trying to go home as he was already clocked out and was just waiting for the lady to come up to the front desk. She finally came up, think her name was Patty. She gave us our room keys, she wrote 141 on the paper but our keys said 241. We tried 141, didn’t work. So we went up to 241, worked but when we opened the door there was a bunch of trash everywhere, including a fishing pole and backpack so we realized someone is already in there or something of the sort so we backed out quietly and went back to the front desk. There was a lady there already checking in, she asked if she has to leave her card info, and the front desk lady said “no you don’t have to, I’m not a stickler for that stuff.” Pretty sure you have to leave your card info when checking into any hotel? lol After a lot of “ugh how am I gonna do this?” She gave us new keys, cool. Now we’re 131. Maybe now we can sleep.
We had learned as well, she was giving us a higher priced room previously with a kitchenette because she felt like we needed it. We don’t. We don’t need a more pricey room because of a kitchenette, we just want to sleep. That’s it. So our new room she “downgraded” us.
We get into the room, every single blanket and pillow is stained. Some with blood. So now instinctually I have to go around every corner of the bed and check for bed bugs. Everything seemed fine, but the stains were bothersome. Every single layer had a stain.
Upon closer look, there was hair that wasn’t ours, there was crumbs looking like Cheetos or some kind of orange snack on the bed.
Our sink was dirty. The room was so hot when we got in due to the AC not even being on. Our toilet didn’t flush.
I’m sure there would’ve been more issues had we stayed longer but we were leaving in the morning.
We decided to sleep in the bed that had less stains, we left and will probably never come back. Throughout the night people were slamming doors, TV’s were blaring.
The only reason service is a 2 star is because of the man who we spoke with first who was already clocked out trying to leave for the night and he was still willing to get us started with our paperwork.
Otherwise this is probably the worst hotel I’ve...
Read moreWe stopped here on our road trip for the night because it was per friendly, which was true. They have short stays under red roof and another section for long term stay, which we obviously did not use, but that is right there. As for location it's located next to a gas station with hot food and drinks. Its within walking distance as well. We stayed in rooms 101 and 103, which as conjoined. It's a bit far from the dog walking area, which is basically the grass surrounding the pool they have out front. You're not supposed to be walking dogs through "common areas" to get to it, so we had to walk around the outside of the building. Now, the issues we ran into were very concerning. In room 103 we had an electrical issue where I went to plug in my phone to charge it and the plug(see photo) sparked and it blew a fuse in the room. The plug was not mounted correctly and had to outlet cover. I almost got electrocuted, very scary, and the room smelled like smoke. We let the staff know and they said theyll contact people to fix it. They turned the power back on in our room and it sparked again, which concerned us. There was no outlet cover, it was nor safe or up to code. We would have moved rooms but in our situation we needed connected rooms, and these were the only ones available, so we stayed. All of the doors slam, so that's something you have to deal with hearing. Room 103 had a broken chain lock(see photo). The outside of the building has a lock to scan cards for entry, but those were broken too(see photo). The bathrooms were alright, but the tubs and shower had black around the caulking and other grime. Another issue I found with one of our bathrooms was the door was not sized correctly or something along those lines because the door was very hard to close, a lot of resistance. I would have expected better quality for the rooms(there is chipped paint on walls and damaged things). The appliances worked well, the fridges have plenty of room and the microwaves work fine. The batteries in the ome tv remote were dead, but they quickly gave us new ones after. Our one key card also didnt work after we went outside for a smoke break late at night, so we had to resort to knocking so we would be let in, it was late at night so that sucked. For a family I would not recommend. It didnt feel very safe, but if you need to stay the night in a pinch it...
Read moreThis hotel is absolutely disgusting. Drove 3 hours at 5 am, spent all day at class, and just wanted to settle into our hotel finally at 6:30 pm. (as you can imagine with the long day). When we walked in building “C” it smelled. Instantly. Like wet stale gross carpet mixed a stench you can’t explain. Walking down the hallway we notice there is literal parts of carpet missing in large chunks leaving exposed flooring beneath. There was a ceiling tile misplaced above our door resulting in wires hanging from the ceiling. Upon entering the room, we noticed it had plastic over the windows with a 1ft by 1ft (roughly) section cut so you could still see out. That’s fine not a super huge deal. We peeled back the bed cover and there’s hair. Several hairs. There’s 4 pillows on the bed, we move each pillow and find several more hairs. Gross. That’s alone with several unidentified stains on the sides of the bedsheet. Lift the chair cousin - full of old crumbs that haven’t been cleaned up. We decide this is definitely not a hotel that we (let alone anyone) should be staying at. Head back to the main office to notify them of the issue and see how they would help rectify the situation. Simple answer, they wouldn’t. After arguing, this extremely rude man said, “we can go check out another room”. Being escorted to another room, the bed was inspected once again, only this time in front of the rude man. MORE HAIR. Several hairs on the pillow, tons of hair along the bed and headboard where it meets. After discovering this, the rude man proceeded to say that but unmaking the beds in another room it is now trespassing! Sir, you escorted us to the room to look at it with you??? Did you want us to look but not touch? Returned the room key and asked for the phone number of the police as they would not refund us for the unclean room. Police come, rude man is combative with the police officer and states he is unwilling to do anything. Would not give us the number for corporate or anyone hirer up than he was. Will be contacting corporate Monday when they reopen. We rushed out of there and unfortunately didn’t get any pictures. Please believe all of the bad reviews you see about this place. Unacceptable way to...
