I went to the Westbury, NY store today 12/30/2016 to double check the frame I order two days ago 12/28/2016 for a canvas print of my dog. I had the pleasure to meet Julia at the framing desk. With her assistance we found out to my surprise the frame I order with the help of Patrick did not match the print at all, in fact it’s not remotely a close match. Julia then helps me pick out a replacements frame, and this is where the entire pleasantry ends.
She refused to amend and or cancel the original order and place a new order for the new frame! I spent several minuets pleading for her assistance to at least try to do something, but she just stood there insisting she cannot make the changes. After a while she realizes I would not leave, so she made a phone call and the person on the other end ask her to fax a cancelation order. I assume she did and so she had me wait half an hour before she would call to check on the status. No surprise the other person never did receive the fax. At this point she asks me to leave and she will call me once the order is canceled with no guarantee. During this time she would assist other customers and just keep me waiting. Finally I realize she was not going to help me, I ask to speak to manager. It took the manager 10 seconds to listen and tell her to cancel the first order and place the new order, after more than one hour later!
So the changes was made and I ask Julia to add two new stock frames I pick up while waiting, she said she can’t and I would have to go to the cashier in front of the store. Of course I did not purchase the stock frames. Wow, what...
Read moreWow! The worker we worked with for our custom frame gave us such a problem when asking him to redo the frame since we were unhappy with how it came out. Then the worker did not try and hide his frustration and had such an attitude with me. I asked when it would be ready and his response was “i dunno”! So i said can you give me an estimate and he said “maybe two weeks, it’s a lot of labor for us,” okay whatever, fine. Two weeks go by, no call, so I called and asked if it was ready. He said it’s not ready yet WE’LL CALL YOU. and hung up the phone!! That alone already solidified my decision to not work with this location anymore. Another two weeks go by and now it’s been over a month since we asked him to redo the frame. So i called again today, and was greeted with the same man, saying “oh yea it’s been ready” what?? I said “excuse me how long has it been sitting there, no one called me to inform me?” His response was, and i kid you not, “i dunno, i was on vacation.” I’m beyond pissed. And i guarantee you when i go to pick it up, it will look no different. Just to fact check myself, i called Michael’s of manhasset and Glen cove and asked how long it would take to make this type of frame? And they told me no longer than one week. So obviously this worker had such a problem with how we were unhappy with the frame and decided to make it more difficult for me. Life is stressful enough for everyone, there’s no need to make it worse for someone else because you are so miserable...
Read moreWorst experience of my life. Never been treated so poorly by two employees Delores and Kiniah. I waited an hour just to place an order. Was then argued with as I simply said as soon as possible with then repeated “I have to know a specific time.” Later was told I demanded immediately to be done and it is not their balloon policy. I simply just wanted the earliest time they could. Delores then told me I spoke to a male manager which I never did and she did not believe it took an hour to place the order. The amount of rude tone and behavior by them even took other customers nearby by surprise who even waited when I left with my small child in disbelief by how rude and disrespect we were treated. It is hard to put in words how rude they were. I was then reprimanded that I didn’t pay before the balloons were filled and that’s what I was supposed to do. I had no idea and was happy to pay at anytime which I did immediately before I left. I hate leaving these reviews but it really was awful.
