STAFF: The First night there, I asked for a roll away bed for one of our kids to sleep on but there was going to be a charge of $25/night for the bed, Instead I asked for a crib for our 2 year old to sleep in and they said they would bring the crib to us in a little bit because that staff member couldn’t leave the front desk because no one else was around. An hour later they called back and asked if we had received the crib, WE DID NOT and it never came that night so she ended up sleeping between my husband and me. Each morning the chamber maid, RIYA, would come to our room and asked if we wanted/needed anything. We declined room service but got fresh towels and garbage bags. The second morning we were there, I gave her our towels in a ball, to which she laid out in front of me in size order. This is where it gets fun! She then proceeded to tell me that the one towel was the wrong color, the night before my kids silled soda on the ground and we used the towel to clean it up. She looked at me and said this is bad it’s the wrong color. First of all I was completely thrown that she was even questioning the color of the towel. I said I can take it back and wash it out in the sink if you would like. She said no and just told me again it was the wrong color. Then she proceeded to tell me how much each of the towels cost. The small one $10 the next size $15 and the big bath towel $25. At that point I told her well we also spilled some water on the floor and that when I cleaned it up the towel came back dirty from the floor. She then gave me 2 or 3 other red towels that I should be using for spills in the room. At this point she then handed me the mop and showed me how to use it to mop our room. I don’t know why I didn’t just close the door on her face at this point, but I took the wet mop and mopped the room a little, ( I think I didn’t mind because it WAS dirty and we still had another night to be there, so couldn’t hurt, she then, clearly not happy with the way I was doing it asked if she can enter the room and then took the mop from me and continues to re mop everything I just did. After the took her door stop out from the door, I shut the door and was like did that really just happen.
The morning we were checking out, we had just gotten back to our room after breakfast and I was packing all of our things to bring to the car. It was 9am at this point. My husband took the kids down to the gym and on his way back the same maid. Riya asked my husband if he was checking out and leaving the hotel, he told her no not yet we will be leaving a little later and continued on. As he was helping to bring stuff to the car she stopped him again and asked, sir are you checking out. At this point my husband was frustrated by what happened the day before and now asking again within a 10 minute time frame about checking out he said no and then told her I feel like you are rushing me, please chill. I had walked by a couple of times as well and she said nothing to me, but instead was just scrolling on her phone and messaging people. I also witnessed her do the same thing to another guest, who also seemed very frustrated with the question and told her repeatedly he will be coming back to the room he is not checking out yet. I could see if the hotel was busy and she needed to get the rooms cleaned for the next round of guests coming in, but there were maybe 5 other occupied rooms...

Read moreI was assigned to room 120. When I got to the room it was occupied by a family of at least 4 people. They had lawn chairs set out side and were sitting in them while the kids ran around. A lady that was sitting there asked me what room I was looking for. I replied 120. She stated that room 120 was her room and I would have to leave. ||||I went back to the office and told the desk clerk that the room was occupied. He told me that this was impossible. I told him to go check for himself. I then asked for a room far away from 120. He assigned me to room 119 which he said would be good because it was on the other side of the building.||||I went to room 119 which was on the other side of the building but was also on the other side of 120. You could hear the kids yelling, jumping and kicking the wall. The room also has a very unpleasant odor. It was dirty and the bathroom had been used. The toilet had not been flushed or cleaned.||||I went back to the office and asked for a refund. The room 119 and 120 were unacceptable. The clerk told me I would have to speak to a manager. So I asked to speak to a manager. The clerk told me there wasn't a manager available. He continued to tell me this was not his fault. He told me he went to room 120 and found people there and that they were rude to him. He also stated that they were unauthorized to be there. I asked him why he did not ask them to leave or call the police. He said that a manager had to do that and there wasn't a manager available.||||This did not make me feel safe at your Days Inn at all||||The desk clerk then assigned me to room 201 which is upstairs. He knew I wanted downstairs due to mobility issues. He then walked me to the room. The room was dirty which I pointed out to him. He stated that this was a motel not a hotel and left the room. ||||I do not care if the place is labeled hotel, motel or inn, it needs to be clean.||||I will attach pictures||||As you can see from the pictures the room was dirty and there was no toilet paper. My husband went to the desk to ask for toilet paper and was told to go to the laundry room and take whatever was needed. ||||This place needs to be reported to the city for cleanliness as well as for squatters. ||||To say I'm unsatisfied is an...
