UPDATE: i will not be a returning customer. This business has lost me as a customer all together. Whoever runs the barebones Facebook page didn’t like what I had to say about my purchase. So they gaslit me into making it look like I was the issue then blocked me when I told the world about their less then satisfactory customer service.. NOT TO MENTION THE COUCH THEY SOLD ME WAS DAMAGED. So I paid almost 1000$ for damaged furniture. GREAT BUSINESS RIGHT HERE 👏🏽
This isn’t my first time dealing with barebones, I am a repeat customer who had an absolutely horrendous experience with this warehouse today. For starters I bought a brand new couch set just this morning from sagamore street. They told me to pick it up by 5 at the warehouse. Okay no problem, I had a friend pick it up for me so they didn’t know what I ordered just that they were picking it up for me. You think people would check things before they leave the warehouse to not have any issues, no that’s not what happened to me. My friend picked up my furniture and brought it to me 30 minutes away. We removed my old furniture from my house and then started unwrapping my new furniture to bring inside. To my surprise it wasn’t my furniture. It was a 3 piece sectional and I ordered a two piece set. Upon discovery of this I called the warehouse to let them know. They asked me to have my friend drive 30 minutes back with the furniture they gave me to pick up my furniture I ordered. For one my friend already wasted gas to bring me “my furniture set” why should he have to waste anymore. Then another resolution they gave me was to bring it in my house and use it mind you it’s light in color I have two small children and my living room couldn’t accommodate it. Only after I screamed at them and told them their 1200$ sectional was going to remain outside did they tell me they would bring it out and pick up the other one. Then I was told I was going to have to figure out how to get it inside as they were only sending one man. I’m a single mother and if they did their job right the first time this wouldn’t have been an issue. Terrible customer service, employees who don’t pay attention to orders and scrambling together stheir 1200$ couch didn’t get destroyed by the climate. No type of compensation whatsoever for my troubles nothing. BAREBONES DO BETTER. I planned on coming back for a kitchen table but I think I’ll go somewhere else with better customer service and...
Read moreWhen the delivery truck couldn't make it up the slippery hill to deliver our futon, the two delivery men CARRIED the futon up that slippery hill. It was in two boxes and very heavy. I wouldn't of blamed them if they postponed the delivery until another day. We kept getting hit with one snow storm after another. The weather was so unpredictable. I had canceled one delivery date because we received the northeaster #1. I was informed that the trucks were on the road, and they planned on making the delivery of our futon that afternoon. I canceled. It was to much to ask of them to deliver way out in the middle of nowhere, up on a big hill. I give them 5 stars hands down! Jess and Andrew we're Great!
