My family and I stayed at this hotel this past weekend... Worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life. Upon checking in the girl at the front desk didn't seem to know much about the check in process. When finally getting to our room to shower the shampoo, conditioner and lotion were completely empty ... the microwave was dirty ... housekeeping is supposed to come very other day ... They did not come once ... We were there from Thursday to Sunday ... Not a huge deal right ... Well the hotel experience just got even better - my husband and another parent on our team took a video of ants crawling out of the wall ... As well as finding mold in their bathtub. The free breakfast was terrible ... Yogurt was room temperature...the batter for waffles made my son sick. As if that isn't bad enough the hotel double charged me, when asked how this happened the same girl who checked us in as well as the manager had no idea why or how this happened! I asked multiple times to have a receipt and the girl could not figure out how to print, finally I said just email me a copy. It was also said by this same girl working the desk that this was not the first time this happened! It has been pulling teeth to get my money back ... The woman who checked us out the next morning was incredibly rude and couldn't even break down the receipt. I called back again this morning to see why the double charged has not been released, and again was met with a very rude and condescending attitude by the woman working the desk. We were so excited to spend the weekend away, enjoying the tournament and instead it's been a nightmare... After all the business that our team brought we should have been catered to. I will make sure the team NEVER stays at this hotel again and I urge you not to as well ... Stay at the casino or...
Read moreThis was a great hotel. The price is a little pricey for not being close to a city, but that’s due to the proximity to Turning Stone. And the price is in line with all the other hotels in the area.I do believe there is a complimentary shuttle to Turning Stone as well. So keep that in mind when comparing. The hotel was really lovely. The breakfast was plentiful and was actively being tended and restocked, and by a friendly pleasant lady. They even had seasonal waffle flavors. The lobby/eating area is very comfortable and the layout was well thought out. The room was beautiful. Probably the cleanest shower and bathroom I’ve ever experienced. And I’ve traveled to 12 different countries and stayed in countless hotels. The other WONDERFUL thing about this hotel was that you have an actual duvet and blankets. Not terrible sheets disguised as blankets. They had plenty of towels that were a good size as well. The pool and pool area was well kept and in great shape. The rooms had a good amount of drawers so we could unpack and be comfortable. They had lots of hangers as well. The room was very well lit. (Not sure why there’s such a trend with dark hotel rooms). It was a very comfortable hotel and would not hesitate to stay again and would highly recommend my family and friends to stay there.
We were visiting for a wedding that was being held at Vernon Downs. They had a group rate available but we chose to stay here instead. It was a great decision. The rest of our family stayed at Vernon Downs and the next day they spent the entire breakfast complaining about how atrocious the rooms were. It really solidified our choice to stay at this...

OK, so I am getting older and forget that hotel room doors are HEAVY. I also go to bed early. So there were a few BANGS late at night, but not nearly as bad as it could have been. Overall, it was fairly quiet, although I brought a noise machine.
There was some issue with check in with a group before us that had their nights confused. My app suddenly wouldn't allow me to use our contact less key before check in. I initially panicked thinking there was some huge widespread issues with rooms. There was not. I put the wrong expiration date on my credit card. Check in was a total breeze. Staff was overly friendly considering the situation they were dealing with.
Room was clean.
We walked to Turning Stone in 10 mins. 6 mins of that walk was on Turning Stone property. I honestly thought parking there would be worse. We could have driven over.
We didn't use the shuttle. But if you do, and you are at the Casino, you have to go to the Valet to let them know you want the hotel to pick you up. I specifically asked this, just in case.
Bottom line: if you want a shuttle to/from TS, ask for the front desk for details.
Breakfast: if you want a great breakfast, eat at a hotel restaurant or somewhere else. As far as a continental breakfast goes, they had plenty of options. Muffins, scones, sausage, eggs, waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, even gluten free udis bagels.
We would stay here again. But I would bring earplugs because I am set in my ways...
