This has to be the worst casino in New York. I have been to them all over the past 10 or 15 years and let me tell you, there are so many better places to play and stay. ||||They have an OVERPRICED buffet, and the food is not worth the money. Ate there on a Saturday night, not many people and the food was luke warm at best. Tried the Emerald, they got rid of 3/4 of the menu. Are you kidding me? ||||Rooms are still outdated. Everything in them were old and beat up. You would think how the boast about being rated so high in so many publications, they would update the rooms.||||Table games limits are way to high. Instead of lowering the limits to get people to play they would rather have dealer stand there alone watching everyone walk by. Slots are a joke. Can not tell you how many players have said to me "I would be better off playing Lotto". Keno machines are the WORSE! I have never seen anything like the ones at Turning Stone. It is impossible to hit any thing on them. It is like they cap you out on hitting only 5 numbers out of 9. 600 dollars on Multi Card Keno, 2 dollars a bet (.10 cents a card) never hit more than 5 numbers. I guess when the tech and gaming attendant tell you to go play down the street I should have listened. When you watch the videos of others playing at other casinos and hitting a decent amount and then watch the ones from Turning Stone where players are only hitting 3 times their bet, and it takes over 200 spins to get a feature you should know better then to play there. The last 4 times I have been there, I did not see anyone win a jackpot, or anyone talk about winning one. Most people just left in disgust. ||||Every time I have left the Turning Stone losing my money, I would go down the street to Vernon Downs and win it all back and then some. The last 3 times I did this I won a jackpot. Each jackpot was over 3 grand. ||||Comps..What Comps? They are the worst in the industry. They do give aways, I fell for that ONCE, expect cheap Chinese knock offs. Sorry Turning Stone, I don't need cheap ear buds that lasted less than a month. It now take 4 dollars of wagering to win 1 comp point. What a Joke. They have also placed restrictions on what days your free play are available for you to play. Most people can only use them on Monday or Tuesday. No other casino does that.||||My advice to people going there, DON'T. Go down the street. You will have a much...
Read moreThe Brook at Turning Stone Casino provided an overall excellent experience during my recent visit. The accommodations exceeded expectations with spotless, well-maintained rooms and an outstanding shower that was a real highlight. The hotel’s prime location offers unbeatable convenience, placing guests just steps away from the casino floor for easy access to all the action.|The staff consistently demonstrated professionalism and friendliness throughout my stay, contributing to the welcoming atmosphere. The facilities and amenities met high standards, making it easy to see why this hotel attracts many visitors.|However, I’m rating this stay four stars rather than five due to one significant issue: our room’s proximity to the elevator bank. The constant elevator traffic created considerable noise disturbances, with guests loudly coming and going at all hours of the night. This made it challenging to get quality rest, which somewhat detracted from an otherwise outstanding experience.|Despite this drawback, I would definitely recommend The Brook at Turning Stone to...
Read moreWe stayed here for one night on our way from Syracuse to Cooperstown. We originally were going to stay at the Inn a couple of miles away but we decided to upgrade to a room at the casino. When we arrived, the signs did not direct us to the self-parking lot for the hotel; we had to find it on our own. The hotel was adequate; the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was helpful and courteous, the fitness room was well-maintained, and there is a variety of food options on-site. We opted for the buffet for dinner, which was not cheap, but it did offer a wide range of good food and dessert. However, overall, staying at the casino was not worth the extra money. The TV in the room was surprisingly small, even compared to the larger screens in budget hotels. In the casino, despite many people waiting to play table games, there were several unopen tables and those that were open had a $25 minimum bet or higher. If I'm in this area in the future, I will only stay here if there is a discounted room. Otherwise, I'll probably opt for one of the smaller hotels...
