Verona Collective — Local services in Town of Verona

I recently purchased a 1/2 oz of Trim and Proper Blackberry and CNY Provisions Cheetah Piss from The Verona Collective, and it was a complete disappointment. The so-called “top-shelf” buds were dry as dust, crumbling into powder at the slightest touch, and felt rock-solid—not at all organic or fresh. When I tried to exchange it for a fresh batch, they refused, offering the laughable excuse that “it must be the strain” or “the drying process for that strain.” Anyone who knows even a little about growing cannabis knows the drying and curing process is the same across the board, regardless of the strain. This wasn’t a strain issue—it was just poor quality, plain and simple.

To be fair, The Verona Collective does have some nice flower. Out of the four strains I’ve tried so far, only one was fresh and smoked at an 8/10 quality level. However, the rest—including this recent purchase—were either dry, poorly cured, or old batches deceptively labeled with “packaged on” dates to create the illusion of freshness. In reality, these batches were harvested months ago and left to degrade before packaging.

The brainless excuses from the staff and refusal to take responsibility show they care more about profits than quality or customer satisfaction. If The Verona Collective wants to maintain a good reputation, they need to stop selling stale, poorly cured flower, educate their staff, and implement a fair exchange policy. They don't have enough product in stock, sadly. I've been driving over an hour to go here for the past year, but the last 4 times I've gone they have had barely anything in stock. No ounces available at all, so you need to stock up on 8ths and spend more money. At that point I'll just save on gas and go to Utica for the same price and slightly better herb. Hopefully things change soon or they've lost a steady customer.

Very professional and chill atmosphere, the employees are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are definitely fair, quality is top notch so it's worth every penny. We grabbed a 3.5g container of the "Piff Co" which is a hybrid that is smooth, tasty, and lifts you up to accomplish any task throughout the day without weighing you down, highly recommend this for a daytime smoke. We also picked up another 3.5g container of the "jellie cake", a rather heavy indica with phenomenal flavor that helps you unwind and melts any stress or worries away, this strain (in my opinion) is best for the end of the day or any time that you don't want to do anything besides relax, eat, and feel really comfortable. I have difficulty falling asleep most nights and this strain will be one of my go-to's because it helped me get extremely comfortable in bed and I slept like a baby. I stumbled across Verona Collective a few weeks back when I was coming out to the New Hartford area to visit with family. I stopped into the crossroads location on my way home that evening after looking at the online menu. I went in for SVG OG but left with Zoap from Trim & Proper after talking with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was very happy with my purchase as it seemed to last me much longer than my normal. It was a nice, jolly smoke with a smooth inhale/exhale. On this trip I wanted the SVG OG and didn't want to make multiple trips. The location in front of Turning Stone had it available in a half, so I placed an online order and made the road trip to pick it up. Again very friendly and knowledgeable staff and the product from Trim & Proper is exactly what I like. Not to mention the prices seemed very fair to me. Saved myself money even with the hour drive from home. Couldn't be happier with my purchase! Highly recommend the Verona Collective locations. I will definitely be returning...
