First off, I will say that I really enjoy Turning Stone. They have given me complimentary hotel nights and last summer I was even invited to a cruise event where I received a cruise voucher and went to Bermuda with my son. However, that being said, this latest visit to the Emerald restaurant at Turning Stone was NOT one that I would like to experience again. I'm mostly rating the Chicken Lettuce Wraps in this review because the service was fine as was my French Onion Soup. The waitress had said that she wasn't sure if they had the lettuce wraps as she thought they were out, but she returned and said they did have them, so I was excited to order them. (Now, I will also pause here to say that I absolutely ADORE the Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps from The Cheesecake Factory, so maybe I was wishful thinking that these would be the similar since the price was basically the same...) HOWEVER, I am attaching a photo to show just how pathetic this meal was. I can't even describe what the "stew-like" chicken was, but it seemed to have been cooked days ago. I couldn't believe they used big iceberg lettuce pieces and the only other garnish options were a few water chestnuts and carrots... Honestly, the more I write this review, the more I have decided this is basically worth only 1-star. I am sitting here in the hotel on their wi-fi (according to my kids making fun of me for being a Karen as I type this review) - but I post good and bad reviews of places and items, and this was quite honestly a god awful meal, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Remove this eyesore from your menu, Turning Stone.

Had two meals, breakfast and late lunch here in the same day. Tammy is the best waitress….efficient and personable. The coffee was hot and good. Pitcher put on the table. Breakfast was a vegetable omelette for one of us with cheddar added. The omelette was fluffy and loaded with veggies. Home fries were subbed for cottage cheese. It was great. Companion had the lox and bagel that also had for lunch. Decent everything bagel, good portion of Nova lox, strips of English cucumber, tomato slices that looked to be heirloom, and pickled onions. Served on a cutting board rather than a plate. Really really good. For lunch companion had a Cobb salad prepared as requested, a good size and fresh. Last person had bacon eggs and toast. Needed to be remade as the eggs were undercooked and the bacon overcooked! Replaced quickly and satisfactory. Manager came over to discuss and apologize. A footnote-they are using robots to deliver food to the table and to remove bus boxes full of dishes. They get mixed reviews from the staff but bring a smile. It’s good to have such a good place open all of the time!

Pot roast dinner with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables (the tomatoes were incredible bursts of sweetness) is a fantastic blend of flavor and the savory meat is cooked tender. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys a good roast. Also tried the Bavarian pretzel charcuterie appetizer, with meats, cheeses, chilis, olives, honey mustard... YUMMMMM-O!!! Meal sizes were great, portions were great, left without being hungry. Service by Jonathan was amazing. There was even a robot speaker station that came out to help sing happy birthday to someone (not me). Beautiful decor and lighting as well. Love the emerald tiles too.

I took my mom there for dinner a few days ago. We ordered the shrimp scampi with strawberry decker drinks. Let me tell you, NEVER AGAIN!! the scampi tasted like thrown together spaghetti noodles, butter and a few shrimp. NO SCAMPI TASTE WHATSOEVER. Then out drinks were nothing of what we ordered. The waitress said she threw it together with strawberry juice and ran down to the desert place and grabbed a few fresh strawberries. It was so sour and discusting. Then she overcharged me by $14.50 and needless to say. BOTH MY MOM AND I ENDED UP VERY SICK SHORTLY AFTER WITH AWEFUL STOMACHE ACHES. Yes I did speak to a manager and she said there was nothing she could do but she would pass it off to the daytime manager and they would give me a call back. I live almost 3 hours away and do you think I recieved a call from them, NOT AT ALL!!! I wouldnt reccomend this place to ANYONE at all. I will stick to the great pizza I get when we go there. This was a 1 and done for me!!! And you ruined what was supposed to be a mother daughter dinner and night...
