After standing in line a hour before they opened we watched as the line would get wider as people started cutting the line staff didn't say anything to them. Once you got inside it looks the same the flow in the dining room was very crowded. The server refused to carry straws gave out cocktail straws. The flow on the buffet floor was confusing. Station are small. Ran out of plates within the first hour of being open. The food in the taco station was uncooked. The taco meat was cold the empanada still had cold chunks of cheese in it. Moving to the pasta station, the pasta was ice cold, tasteless. The pizza looked like it was leftover taken from wicked pizza. The greens had chunks of meat in it that took over the greens. It was very watery as well in addition to it being cold. The risotto scallops made no sense what a waste of space. That area could have been used to spread out the stations more. The risotto was gray the sauce the scallops were in was grey as well. The fried fish was dry but the only thing hot on this buffet. The fresh seafood catch aka grilled shrimp was cold and way over cooked and the lemon it's cooked in was over powering. Asian station the food was hot with the exception of the dim sum they were raw on the inside the shrimp was not cooked, the chicken for the general tso was raw still. The egg rolls had hard pieces of cabbage in it. Never made it to the carving station the lines were long but overheard people say the prime rib was chewy and over cooked.
The desserts made no sense at all. The tappioca pudding was absolutely disgusting, the desserts with dark chocolate was so thick and over powering it took away from the cheesecakes or other delicate flavors. The vanilla peaches was very dry and flavorless. Waste of waffle cones for 2 pieces of cold dry churros. The cakes and cupcakes were dry.
The overall service here was very disappointing. Very concerning how the servers who knew their guests would go to the kitchen and grab food for them as if the food on the buffet was not good enough for their guests. My thoughts is For 38 dollars a person, it was not worth it at all. Very...
Read moreI don't usually do reviews, but I thought it would be fair to do so. I hesitated going because of some of the previous negative reviews I read. I am glad that I discounted most of the negative reviews and gave it a shot for myself because you can't please everyone. I brought a friend here for her birthday. In the Casino we we're lost and couldn't find the restaurant. A nice lady worker went out of her way to walk us all the way around the Casino to the restaurant. We got there at 4:00 open as reccomended. Yee, there was already a decent line. Must be a popular spot! We got in and were seated within 10 minutes of opening. The staff was very nice and attentive. The young lady that tender to our table was really nice and friendly. The assortment of food was good. The salad bar and Chinese food area was my favorite. The food was fresh and good. I mean it's no Michelin Star restaurant, but I already know what to expect from buffets. This one was far better than any others I have been too and definitely nothing like some of the bad reviews made it seem to be. I'd imagine like any buffet restaurants you want to get there at open when the food is hot and fresh and the staff isn't overly exhausted by all the face stuffers that have worn them and the place out. Over all the quality of the food was good. The selection was good and we ate more than we could fit into our gullets. Next time we'll wear stretchy pants. Anyhow in summary I will state that I am glad that I didn't listen to the bad reviews. I guess one must take into context each individuals experience and understand maybe they got there later or on a bad day. I know I'd go there again and hope to have the same experience as we did this time around. Give the place a chance and make up your own minds. Oh yeah, and about the cost some complained about. Consider a garbage pizza can cost you $30 beans now a days. I'd say $36 isn't too bad for all you can eat prime rib, salad, Italian food, Chinese food, sea food, sodas, ice cream and pastries to the roof and...
Read moreStaff was very nice! Although my waiter forgot my silverware another person was happy to quickly help so it wasn't really an issue. She actually anticipated my need as I walked back to the table. My face said, "hmm wheres the silverware?" Haha They bring it to your table. The food was good, kept to temp and the buffet was clean. The floor near the tables was a little dirty, straw wrappers on the dark carpet etc., so that could be improved. Coffee cupcake with a light tiramusu frosting was the star of the show for me but all the desserts, including the mini creme brulee were well prepared. Prime rib was delicious, not over seasoned. There's really something for everyone here, including vegetarians. The salad "bar" was awesome! They had a great assortment of olives, cheeses, salads, pretty much everything you could think of. One thing that they definitely did right here is staffing - plenty of staff floating around to help if needed. They were wiping things down non stop and keeping everything very clean which i really appreciated because some buffets are so dirty. I also really liked how they had the mini salads already in dishes so people didn't have to serve themselves, just grab a dish if they wanted. I also appreciate the size of the desserts; very small so you can try a bunch! You will want to - trust me!! However; I must say they didn't have a chocolate cake. I was kind of surprised by that. Just a tried and true, good piece of extra chocolatey chocolate cake (the Borgata in Atlantic City has the best, hint hint 7 Kitches 😉) would have been perfect. 🍫🎂 Overall, great experience here and I highly recommend you visit so you can find your favorite dish because there are just. so. MANY!! 😊 Oh and also I went later in the evening like 8-9, and there...
