First Watch — Restaurant in Tucson

Just when I could not believe there was a worse place to eat in Tucson I came across First Watch.

The 9 dollar veggie sandwich was made with supermarket quality multigrain bread, smothered in some cheese.

The coffee reminded me of Sanka

The side of homes fries or whatever they were the most disgusting potatoes I ever saw and tasted before I spat them out. One has to be a very unmotivated cook to serve those soggy tired, badly cooked potatoes.

What I find amazing are the amount of folks eating that overpriced garbage.

Thank you First Watch, you are the last straw in such a mediocre town, I will cook.and entertain at home from now on!

Management responded with the typical " social media script"....( Let's us send you a free meal coupon...we dropped the ball...).

Let's be clear here, the restaurant did not drop the ball that day, the food is mediocre and anyone that implies otherwise, is deficient in the food department. " Crazy good"!, " Good gollie", " best coffee I've ever had!".... " Healthy"...anything smothered in Hollandaise sauce is not healthy,, are you kidding me? How on Earth they manage to pack over 700 calories on a measly, tiny veggie sandwich, they smothered it with cheese....oh yum!

Anyone that pays almost 10 bucks for a sandwich made on two very small slices of supermarket bread and Campbell's tasting soup and says it's delicious, either is paid to say so or is a fool who deserves being served this trash.

Mr. Manager, I will never accept your " good will " coupon, I would no go there even if you offered a year's worth of free food...your response's is a mockery to what I said. Is this the way you deal with bad reviews? You offer free coupons, do folks change their reviews afterwards?

This is one of my favorite spots for breakfast or brunch. They are always friendly, and the food is amazing. I have never had a bad experience. Will always be one of my top picks. Also, try one of their juices. They are so refreshing. Update on 9/15; I have always recommended this place to a lot of people. I left them a great review previously. You can see that part above. However, we have been here about three times since I left that review, and I was not very impressed. The last time we went there, my boyfriend was so upset with his food that he ended up not eating any of it. He got a Cajun shrimp and grits. The grits were lumpy and greasy, and there was no Cajun seasoning. I got an eggs Benedict plate, which is usually my favorite there. This last time, though, one egg was overcooked. The yolk was completely cooked through, while the other egg's yolk was runny, which is how it should be prepared. The server was friendly on that visit. The other time we went after my original review, the server was extremely unhelpful and rude. We noticed one of the coffee cups was dirty when we sat. It had smudging on the rim of the cup. When we asked for a new cup, the waiter seemed put out about getting a new one. He then proceeded to treat us with a poor attitude the rest of time eating. Both of these experiences ruined this spot for us. We have not been back, and I do not recommend it to anyone who asks for breakfast...

For my first time here, I was extremely unimpressed with the customer service. First off, we walk into this location and I’m surprised on how nice the interior of this place is. They did a really good job on the interior decoration on this place, so immediately it seemed promising. He are immediately seated. So 15 mins goes by, and we have not talked to a single waiter or waitress. Someone eventually comes up to us, gives us a container of water and says they will return shortly. Another 10 minutes goes by, and she comes back. The waitress takes our food order, and is on her way. When my plate comes out, I had a cut up part of a menu on my plate, under where my main course was sitting, kind of like a coaster or something... Kind of weird, but ok. Is this a normal thing at this franchise? Anyway, they had a really nice menu choice at this location, and the price:portion ratio is really decent. As of now, I really have no intentions of returning to this location with the way things went today. 25 mins or so JUST to put in a food order was pretty long.
