T.J. Maxx — Local services in Tupelo

I enjoy shopping at TJ Maxx. This location is well stocked and clean. The biggest majority of the employees are friendly and offer their assistance if you need it. They're located in a good area with like stores, so that's a bonus. If you don't find what you want here, then you can walk to the next store, lol. However, I have to say that everywhere else, the price increases are a bit much as I saw stuff I got last year, almost tripled in cost. I don't know how they justify this or how they expect to keep their doors open if they price things to the point that people can't afford it? Maybe they're trying to get all they can now?? it is sad and very frustrating because I see fewer and fewer people buying due to these price hikes, and we all know where that will end up. I swung by town here recently to visit friend in town and had to come in here to get a few clothes I forgot before traveling. I came in and a lady named Yolonda was supposed to help me. I don't really make google reviews but it was an absolutely terrible experiance. From working in retail myself I could tell she was just trying to hide from customers when I caught her to ask where I could get like a winter jacket but not too heavy. She sighed and just said in men's, which I clearly knew. I just wanted more assistance in terms of finding the right item possibly even a clearance one. She just stood there by me on her phone and wouldn't even look up to acknowledge me. If you come here do not let this woman be the one to help you. I have family and friends back home here in Tupelo. Been in that store plenty of times. Never again after hearing about the unprofessionalism displayed. I was an ASM for Home Depot. I’ve worked retail. I’ve ran retail. For a store whose “store cleanliness” is not heard of, “shelf availability” is horrible (probably not keeping up with freight efficiently)….the manager on duty during the time of her outburst has no say in anyone’s performance when she’s has NO leadership skills for the title she has.
