Do not go to this place. It has been a disaster from the moment we walked in. 1) We couldn’t check in until an hour past “guaranteed check in time” (so 5pm). 2) The bunk beds - the top bed is falling apart and the torns parts falling into the bottom bunk. 3) The rooms are small - there is no dresser, one small closet upstair - if you can get your suitcase up the tiny spiral staircase (which is also where the washer/dryer is). 4) There is no air conditioning - I would get that in the winter. In the summer, it is 80+ degrees. I get it cools down at night, but after the kids go to bed - in their upstairs bedroom, where it is sweltering and stuffy. - there are supposed to be fans in the condo - not that we’ve seen. 5) We stayed in a “Platinum Room” - sounds good. It’s not. 6) Everything is gross and dated. There’s a Christmas nutcracker as part of the decor. The couch is a sectional that is completely disconnected. I can’t figure out how to get it to fit together. Didn’t think I’d have to. 7) The top “main” bedroom has a window that looks out at the hallway where everyone walks - basically, think a motel set up. So - beware. Definitely don’t be romantic with your wife there. 8) Relatedly, this bedroom has no window but the one to the aformentioned hall. So - to get any air into it (again, no AC), you have to open that window and that curtain - so, I guess people will just walk by and watch me sleep? It’s also right next to the elevator - so I’ll be hearing that non-stop. 9) The front room has a window, but it is stuck and does not open - so - you’re stuck with the heat that has accumulated during the day. No way out. 10) The faucets are all Delta - which, whatever. But it is a cheap brand and I suspect the reason half of them are leaking. 11) The bathrooms are remarkably cramped. Like - airplane size. The tiny sinks are on the outside. At $741/night - the standards are preposterous. If it helps, we are staying in room 409. The location is fine. The lobby is fine (definitely bait-and-switch kind of feel). We literally intend to leave this place early and go somewhere else because it is just so awful and nowhere near the caliber of what you’d expect in Vail.

All I can say is wow. Great location for skiinig (very very short walk), service was amazing, and our group of six had plenty of room in a three bedroom condo. I have nothing at all to say bad about staying at Antlers. The front desk was welcoming and very helpful with every request. Housekeeping was simply awesome. We left for skiing and came back every day to a nice clean place with replaced linens, garbage emptied, and beds made. Again, beyond our expectations. If your here for skiing, they have a free ski valet right next to the gondola that is included with your stay. Your boots stay in the locker with the nice boot warmers they have to dry out your boots overnight. As stated earlier, your walk from the ski locker to the gondola is very short. If you can ski or snowboard, you can make this treck. The pool and hottubs were great to use after skiing and my children and their friends took advantage of them. We had a view of vail mountain and the pool! Parking was free and I was able to maneuver a GMC 2500 full size truck into a spot. Took a little maneuvering, but yes you can park here. If your vehicle doesn't fit in the garage, they have a small lot that is inlcuded as well, but this may be full. Getting in and out to head to Beaver Creek was a breeze. You could also take the bus which was a 3 minute walk. To sum it up, this was a great place to stay for our five day trip. You can't beat the location, service, and ease of parking. I would highly recommend Antlers at Vail!

My stay at the Antlers was okay; the unit could do with some updating as the mattress is past it's best days and the combination shower/tub faucet definitely takes a few minutes to master in its cramp location. The TV had the major apps downloaded and we did add YTTV. Given the majority of our time was spent outside of the room; it served its purpose for the week we were there. The location to the Art & Ben Bahn Express lift (formally Riva Bahn Express) is a short and convenient 5 minute walk. The bus stop and access to close by shopping is nearby as well. The staff was very friendly and hosted a wine and cheese reception one evening which was quite nice. Housekeeping was adequate and the shuttle drivers very friendly and knowledgeable. My only challenge was getting out of the building the day we were departing. There is no overnight front desk staff and you can't exit out the main doors, they're locked until 8am. The only way out from the elevator is a side door unless you take steps. This would really be a challenge with ski's and numerous pieces of luggage. This particular morning the walkway exit was blocked by the car (pictured). Keeping this area clear during times when the lobby is locked would definitely improve egress in case of an emergency and simply trying to get out of the building with ones belongings.

Let me start off by saying I love this hotel so much that I'm writing a review while I'm still here!! The staff is great!

The reservation process: We called them directly due to having a pet (but you can always book online). I found that they were having a deal online that wasn't mentioned on the phone and when I brought it up, they were more than willing to give me the same price! The reservation process went so smoothly and my absolute favorite thing is that they have all the rooms pictures on their website. They gave us our room number and we were able to view the exact room before arriving!! They have the cheapest pet fee in town (I think), $25/night, and parking was FREE for one car! Some places charge over $50/night for parking which can really add up. There's no hidden fees with the price they give you, which I appreciate a lot!

The stay: Check in was pretty easy. Great COVID19 precautions were taken and front desk was super nice. Parking garage is a bit small so I would watch out for that. The lobby is what I dream my living room to be in the future. They gave step by step instructions on how to go to the garage-elevator-room. When we arrived to the room, our TV wasn't working and when we called front desk, they came so fast and helped fixed it (we kept our distance of course bcuz COVID). The next morning, our first floor bathroom locked by itself and when everyone left the room, maintenance came and unlocked it for us!! I even got a text from the front desk, Chris, about free ice cream coupons!!! I haven't picked them up yet but I will before check out for sure lol. We checked out a couple free bikes that the hotel offered which saved us money from renting one outside. The room is a great size and the view of the mountains makes waking up early worth it! It has a fully equipped kitchen which is great for making our own meals.

Overall this hotel is perfect and I'm already planning on staying here again next time I come back. Staff is super nice and there's also a dog name Piper at the front sometimes!!! If anything happens (which I doubt will), I will update this review. Other than that, I would highly...

The Antlers resort provides excellent rooms located in the Lionshead neighborhood of Vail. We stayed here for a week during the height of the summer vacation season; the corridors and neighboring rooms were quiet enough that we were all able to sleep well at night. The single rooms we stayed in were functional enough, with bunk beds next to the main bedroom, a living room next to the brook & Mountain view porch (where the outdoor grille was located), and a functional kitchen with the usual appliances. A couple of adults with a couple of small kids would fit comfortably; any more than that would be pushing it.||We found the service of these rooms was good. When requested, they would clean these rooms and wash all the dishes (we tended to do a lot of in-room cooking & grilling). There is a shared laundry room to (eventually) wash your own clothes. There seem to be enough washing/drying machines to cover the entire complex; we didn't have to wait for a machine. Note the underground parking can be tight at peak periods; considering using a smaller car (large vehicles may not fit into the remaining spaces).||The Antlers is located a short walk from the Lionshead commercial & restaurant district (including the Eagle Bahn gondola). The larger Main Vail commercial & restaurant district is 1 mile away; a in-town free Vail bus service is a short walk away and runs every 10 minutes. The Antlers is located adjacent to the Gore Creek Nature Trail, so the view from each room of the Creek and Vail Mountain from your porch is impressive. The outdoor pool wasn't too crowded while we were there, but expect to have a lot of kids in this pool.||You'll have to use your own judgement if all this is worth the price. Nothing in Vail is inexpensive, and neither are...
