I have never written a review for a restauraunt, let alone a product on Amazon. However, after the experience I had at this "restaurant", I felt I had to. This restaurant is easily the worst restaurant I have ever attended. Originally, I called in a to-go order, anticipating that I would not be eating there. However, things changed and I decided to bring my family to sit down at the restaurant. Upon arriving, the hostess was hesistant to seat us. She claimed that we could not eat the carry-out food (from that restaurant) at a restaurant table. Following our brief discussion, she reluctantly "allowed" us to sit down if we tipped her and ordered drinks. She said she would discuss our carry-out order with the waiter. After about 10 minutes, the waiter finally came out. We told him about our previous order -- which he had NO knowledge of (not sure why the hostess didn't tell him, even after she told us she would) -- and said he'd talk to the manager. We also ordered an alcoholic beverage. Bear in mind that we placed the carry-out order at 6:40. It was supposed to be done by 7:00, and we sat down in the restaurant at 7:30. At 7:45, neither the drink nor the pizza had arriaved. When I saw the hostess, I asked her where it was. She said that she couldn't help us, but that I could talk to our waiter (who I had already spoken to). I then went inside to speak to him again. He said he couldn't help me because to-go orders were at the bar. I asked to speak to the manager. In our discussion, he blamed the hostess for not speaking English (which she did), said the restaurant was understaffed (the bartender who was supposed to be making my wife's drink was busy seating people), and proceeded to blame us for not telling him the name associated with our order (which I did). The waiter also refused to take responsibility for the order. His excuse was that he was busy serving three more tables. Not only was there a lack of communication, knowledge, or manners that an average 2-month-old possesses, there was a lack of forks. After going back outside to wait for our pizza, the waitress informed the couple at the table next to us that they were out of forks. Apparently the waitress, waiter, host, hostess or even manager with enough common sense to wash forks was off duty. The couple's two children (both under 5 years old) were forced to eat their mac 'n cheese and spaghetti with their fingers. Finally, the pizza arriaved. It is now 8:00, an entire hour after the pizza was supposed to be completed (we later learned that it had been completed, and had just been sitting in the heater for the past hour). When the waiter finally brought the food out, he rudely apologized for the service. I told him that there were a lot more things that he needed to apologize for, including his attitude. He replied "I can apologize for anything you want me to." At this point, I stood up and began to walk out with my family. My family decided to bring the pizzas with us. Ironically, they brought them to-go bags, even though we were sittting at the table. As we walked past him, the waiter said "I guess we'll comp your drink. We walked to the exit of the restaurant, we encountered the manager. I let him know how poor the service was and reminded him that he was the manager in charge of this and asked him what he wanted me to do with the food. He replied, saying that "you normally pay for it at the bar"(remember, there is no bartender -- he's busy seating people). I left the bags at the bar, and HE (the MANAGER) yelled at ME (the CUSTOMER): "Thanks for the free food!" and pointed to the door. I was going to say something along the lines of "so that's how you treat your customers!?", but he cut me off before I could say anything. After leaving, we walked about three hundred yards to a restaurant called Moe's Original Bar-B-Que. I highly recommend it! My entire family of six was able to eat there for under $30, and the food was done in three minutes. To get there from BM, go up the stairs and head west. It is at the top of the stairs next to Charlie's....
Read moreAte here on the 4th of July, definitely would NOT recommend, we were seated on the porch because we had our little black dog with us, we requested a shaded table but did not get one, when we went to the table we asked to move to one with an umbrella and was rudely told No by the host staff, we asked to move once the tables next to us opened up, was told no because it had 6 chairs and there were only four of us, 20 minuets later they sat a couple of two at the table we were told we couldn't move to. It was 95 degrees and the strong Colorado sun but told multiple times we could move and then that we couldn't, It took an hour for our Pizza to get to the table, we sat there for almost 2 hours and all the tables in the shade opened up but we still couldn't move anywhere, before we got the check we moved to a table in the shade because the waiter said we could then the host came out and yelled at us, we went in and talked to the manager and after 15 minutes we were told we could sit there ONLY till we were all paid out, we paid check and left, we were patient and really good customers but were treated in a horrible way, if your looking for a place to get a bad table and yelled at from the workers there then this is the...
Read moreService is absolutely terrible! I had to order two 1/2lbs of wings because I couldn't have 2 different flavors on only one 1/2lb and I also ordered cheese sticks as an appetizer along with a large pepperoni pizza. I received my pizza before my appetizers and when I asked the server where my wings were at he came back and said they had ran out so I told him I didn't want any appetizers since the pizza was already on my table. After we ate I asked for the tab he brought it to me and I paid for it and I didn't leave a tip on my card because we were going to leave a cash tip, since it's preferred for most servers. Apparently the server got upset because we didn't tip on the card so he came up to our table while my 3yr old was still eating and said we had to leave and that we didn't deserve to be there since we didn't tip him and to go back to Texas!
I brought it to the managers attention and he seemed unbothered by the complaint all he said was I will speak with him, if it was my crew I would fire the individual on the spot!
Tourism is what this place thrives on the waiter should get fired without a second thought. The individuals attitude should never be tolerated in the customer...
