I had a really bad time. During check in there was a tornado and I had used a 3rd party site to make my reservation, upon payment, they were charging me about $500 more the price I saw online. That was eventually resolved. The buttons in the room don’t work. On day 1 I requested a room cleaning and returned to my room around 4:30pm and room was not cleaned. That same night I put do not disturb on and had room service knock my door that night AND the next day, I still had do not disturb active and had 2 cleaners try to enter my room while I was trying to rest. That’s a total of 3 times WHILE do not disturb was active. And the cherry on top was the fire alarms that went off TWICE during my barely 3 day stay. I also paid a $150 refundable deposit and made sure to not damage and not use a single room service or bar item but I am still waiting for a refund about 3 weeks later. I do not recommend and will not be returning. I chose this hotel because I had an embassy appointment and it was within walking distance of said embassy. That’s probably the only positive. The hotel is located in what can be considered a red light district with bars and clubs on both sides which attract a dangerous crowd at night. The windows are also very small and barely a few feet from the next building so there was no such thing as natural lighting (I’m sure there’s other rooms with better natural lighting options). Again still waiting for my $150 deposit. I check my card everyday for a refund and so far nothing. Videos below for some of the incidents mentioned above.

I had such a wonderful experience at SIXTY DC! From the moment I checked in, everything was seamless and easy. The staff made me (and my pup!) feel so welcomed — they even provided her with a cozy bed and dog bowls, which was such a thoughtful touch. The hotel is brand new so everything was clean and luxe! The decor and the furnitures were absolutely beautiful! The amenities were outstanding. Casamara was a true highlight, with incredible food and a beautiful atmosphere, and the rooftop offered stunning views that really showcased the best of DC. The food and the cocktails were amazing. I still think about the spritz options! There are so many options to choose from. Location wise, you are right in DuPont circle with so many things to do. In the hotel, you have Casamara restaurant, a rooftop with beautiful views of the city, and a speakeasy right under your nose called Reynolds! 3 in 1, how amazing! Overall, my stay was comfortable, welcoming, and memorable. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend SIXTY DC to anyone visiting the city or even if you want to do a staycation — especially those traveling with a service dog!

The service is where this hotel shines. The staff is observant, and accommodating. The location is well placed in the middle of everything. Very safe location for solo travelers.

Had a really excellent stay at the Sixty, and the service across the board was truly unmatched - special shout out to Johnny on the front desk who was kind enough to reaccommodate my room after I mentioned I would love a bathtub, and Adrien at the rooftop bar for making some incredible drink recommendations.|I had a small issue with my bathtub plug, and before maintenance had even finished checking it out, their housekeeping manager had run out and gotten a new plug for me just in case - I couldn't believe how quickly they worked to resolve problems.|I mentioned to Johnny at breakfast I loved the coffee creamer that they had (we don't have it in the UK!) and by the time I had gotten back from breakfast they had put a whole load of packets in my room to take home with me! It was so nice staying somewhere with such thoughtful touches.|The rooms were very spacious and well laid out, and the bed was amazing - even though the hotel is in a busy area, I didn't hear anything from the...
