I feel like the security here are really rude. I was surprised when I came in for the nightclub and had my guestlist code and name ready which is free before 11:30pm, to the bouncer in front. We all showed our IDs to one guy, then the guy who took the payments didn't understand we were already on the guestlist so he said to get our 8 people first. We kept repeating that we had our group and counted out our people for him, and had to show our IDs again. As a girl, I held my other friends hand to not lose her going inside but the guys in our group just filed in behind.
Somehow, they stopped our group at 6 people and let two other people who PAID to get in instead. The other two guys were told there was nothing they could do even though we counted and pointed at them and also our friend stayed behind to say they were with us. They knew everyone in our group which proved we were in the same party, and I even had a guestlist group put down for 9 people, so at least one guy should have been let in without telling him he had to pay. Our friend ended up paying for both of them which was really surprising because this was a really simple mistake on their part that they refused to want to listen to us explain. It wasn't something that is "out of their hands" to deal with. I've never really had this kind of experience before and met people this purposeful to just be mean for no reason, maybe because it wasn't just only girls like my group normally is.
The bathroom security was also a little rude, also surprising because I was trying to ask where the bathroom was and he kept shrugging at me without answering, and once my friend asked for me where the start of the line was, he finally at least waved to the back.
One note is that their promo post said ladies open bar from 10-11:30 which is where I registered for the guestlist and the reason we came instead of our usual ladies open bar club, but when I asked the bartender she shook her head no. So I'm not sure if this was incorrect info or they felt like it was too close to the end of...

It’s the cutest little spot and the atmosphere is chill and cool, We just came here to have drinks and because of the cozy place and hospitable host and the inviting atmosphere me and my sister were hooked, Ana the server is very friendly we stablished connection right away! We had so much fun and we enjoyed the little chat with Ana little that i know i would discover how amazing their service and they go beyond! That night we left the restaurant full of energy and happiness , that night i forgot my wallet! With everything in it! And to know that its our last night and were going back to Florida. It’s too late when I discovered I lost it i got so worried and after trying to connect with them on the phone i made a connection to them we wrote the email and they responded quickly yes they had my wallet and very willing to send it back. Ana the server go beyond that she even made an effort to send message to my fb messenger telling i left my wallet and they have it safe. I am so happy and relieved today i receive it! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel not only welcomed but family and most important they gave us an amazing experience. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority.

Read moreI’ve been to a lot of sushi restaurants across the globe. This one is unprofessional, the food is subpar, and the only thing that is mildly decent is drink menu.
It’s bad business to put a 20% gratuity charge on the bill for anything less than 6 people. I asked to have it removed because it’s not legally or morally acceptable. It cost my waiter part of his tip to have this on the check.
The food is subpar for a sushi restaurant. The salt for the edamame was haphazardly applied to the edamame and only on some of the top pieces.
The tempura shrimp roll was basic and had a large amount of rice. 6 pieces was a fine size for a happy hour roll.
The Tokyo roll however was $18 and only came with 6 pieces. It advertised white fish, tempura, and a “Tokyo sauce”. When it came out the top of the sushi was covered in pickled red onion and ginger which overpowered the white fish and tempura. Also when I deconstructed the roll to find the white fish there were mini slivers of white fish in the mess of red onion. Overall it just tasted like the red onion and nothing else. The only “Tokyo sauce” I could find was a small drop of mayo on the top.
I’m sad because the person working the desk at the Hyatt Place recommended this place for good sushi and it frankly makes me mad they would recommend such a place to anyone.
At least the lychee martini was decent.
I usually don’t write reviews because I talk with the owner or manager about their restaurant. This one didn’t even meet my expectations to talk with someone who could affect change at the restaurant. My recommendation: switch to a full time bar and stop serving sushi...
