Marlayna at this GameStop is phenomenalâ she is very smart and very charming. She had extensive knowledge of what was currently in-stock/available, all of the current sales/pricing & never ran out of patience with my endless questions. I havenât played video games in over a decade, but Marlayna got me up to date with all the best systems & games available in 2020. She is a good listener & was very helpful in choosing products tailored to my interests and lifestyle. I purchased a new Nintendo Switch consoleâ there were only two left! I felt great about my purchase thanks to Marlayna. It was Black Friday & she had phone calls coming in every few minutes, but she was extremely graceful in how she multitasked. Exemplary client management skills & wonderful interactionâ every one was happy & well attended to.    Read moreI recently visited the GameStop in Waynesboro, Virginia, with my daughter, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. The store manager seemed inattentive to our needs and instead appeared to be following us around as we browsed the shelves. It felt as though he was constantly rearranging items right behind us, not even waiting for us to move to a different section.
The whole situation made us feel extremely uncomfortable, almost as if we were being watched because he suspected us of stealing or something along those lines. We were simply there to browse and possibly make a purchase, but this strange behavior really put a damper on our experience.
In the end, we left the store without making any purchases and with a sour taste in our mouths. It's truly disappointing because we have enjoyed shopping at other GameStop locations in the past. Based on this experience, I can only give the Waynesboro GameStop a 2-star rating, and I sincerely hope they address the issue and improve their customer service...

I was accompanied by my daughter, and our primary objective was to purchase a new controller for her Nintendo Switch. However, due to Jarreth's extensive knowledge and engaging demeanor, we ended up also purchasing additional attachments for various games.
Regrettably, the store lacked a dedicated system for showcasing and demonstrating these attachments, which I had heard about from a friend. If such a system had been in place, I believe I would have made additional purchases based on Jarreth's recommendations and explanations of the features and games.
