While the rooms are not as modern and technologically advanced as some places, this quaint family owned motel offers a variety of other amenities that more than make up for it, such as Wi-Fi with an easy to type in password, a cute little doggie that roams about the office area ready to greet everybody that comes in, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and a beautiful scenic environment with a little pond and a dock/gazebo. Walmart is right down the road so is Dollar tree and a gas station everything is within walking distance if people are willing to walk on a nice beautiful day or easily 2 to 3 minutes and drive in either direction to access food and gas and entertainment. This is a prime location for anybody looking to stop by for overnight or drop in for a week or two and just unwind and relax. I highly recommend this location to anybody in the West branch area to stop by take a load off and experience a little peace and quiet from that busy city bustle. You can also bring your pets and service animals and emotional support animals , but don’t forget to be courteous and inform the front desk that you have your furry little friend with you , there’s no hassle. There’s no issues, just as stated our furry little friends are more than welcome. Unfortunately I can only leave five stars. I wish I...
Read moreI can’t possibly say enough about this fabulous motel and how it’s staff handled the many displaced families it received during my stay. I had the privilege of staying there for many days during the worst ice storm Northern Michigan has seen in living memory. 2,000 power poles down and literally weeks without power. West Branch, MI was the eye of all of Michigan, with tornado damage to the south and ice madness to the north. They allowed me, my children, and our two cats in with a smile, and I saw many other storm refugees with their animals as well. People were swarming, the area, seeking shelter and support, and the members at Tri-Terrace were cleaning rooms even until 8-9pm every night, letting people in as soon as each room was ready.
Additionally, the room was darling, spacious, clean, they resupplied towels and helped with anything we needed. There is a sweet pond out front with a little dock that extends into it. There is a courtyard in the center of all the rooms, many doors have an opening into the courtyard. If we hadn’t had a vehicle, we could have been okay still walking over to some of the businesses in the area. It was in a great central spot.
I can’t speak highly enough for this small business. What a gem, and an asset for...
Read moreLet me start by saying that the owner called CPS, reported many false accusations. Undiagnosed sickness when it is fully taken care of. Lied about chocolate on curtains. STORY IS, we had to clean the carpets our self for 3 hours and it still comes out black and brown with a carpet cleaner. Cobwebs in every corner and dust on everything, curtain rod, bed stand, mirror, floor boards. Air conditioner I had to take and clean myself. We have 4 sheets and blankets on the ground because our kids get asthma from there carpet. She also complained about that. Don't stay here if you have allergens, mold along roof, wood rot around the entire building. Upon mentionting we wanted to dust, housekeeper rolled her eyes and stated "i just cleaned in there" owner said "I don't want to have to put new bedding" Bottom line, two faced unfaithful people and no attention to detail. Handed her many towels pure black from dusting and cleaning every inch of this motel. Underneath room chairs, pure wood rot, very dangerous if you have been exposed to mold before, (hypersensitivity) Only left this because of a...
