Will never eat from here again.. we had high expectations with all the reviews & positive talk, never again.. The rice is so hard, we can’t even eat it.. The photo is after my wife put the beans & rice on her shell, & that’s what is left.. she took 2 bites & couldn’t finish because the rice is so undercooked & dry, it’s horrific.. we decided to try a new place for dinner & will NEVER return.. I am absolutely devastated as everything looked good while we were in there & was completely LET DOWN.. A night of an easy dinner turned into spending twice as much having to cook at home after just spending money on take out.. Zero stars should be a rating.. here’s the corn tortillas, they don’t even look appetizing. Had to use my own tortillas because these just weren’t it.. High hopes & was just let down.. We’ll be sticking to where we know from now on! Lesson learned.

I’ve stopped here twice while doing business in West Branch. It’s located in a strip mall next to Dollar General. I enjoyed the chimichanga the first time, but the best entree was the Rancheros tacos. They are three delicious deep-fried flour tacos served with beans and rice. I agree with other reviewers that the free chips and salsa are bland, but three hot sauces are available at the table if you want to spice it up. Don’t forget the fried ice cream for dessert. Booth and flat-top seating in a quaint, Hispanic-themed restaurant with very decorative tables and music. Parties of 5 or more may have a wait, per the sign on the door. DoorDash and takeout. No credit card fee. Lunch and combo specials. Competitive pricing. The food comes out quickly with good service. I have and will return.

Never been here before, and will never come back. Everything that is wrapped uses corn tortillas. I prefer white flour tortillas. I ordered 3 bean and cheese enchellatas. I removed the unwanted corn tortillas that, by the way had NO CHEESE INSIDE and my plate looked like a $10 dollar plate of beans! Unbeleavable! MY husband ordered a chimichanga and was brought a tostada with beans. When he asked where his chili was the reply was that that WAS his Chimichanga. RIGHT! Hmmm, when did a tostada magically become a chimi?! Oh, the salsa and chips provided at the table were great. That is the only reason they got one star. There were several people there, but I was thoroughly unimpressed with this establishment. Will NEVER. BE BACK!!!

We’ve been to this location several times over the last six years that we’ve lived here and we have never had a horrible experience until tonight the girl who Served us completely dismissed me. I told her that we wanted to order some thing after we finished our meal. She persisted in knowing what it was that I was going to at order to go after we finish our meal. So I told her and I also told her I don’t want it until we’re ready to go. She made it anyway and brought it to the table. I told her I wasn’t done eating and she told me that’s OK. You can finish eating your dinner. I said yeah, but my food is going to be cold. She dismissed me and say anything and walked away. When we left, I told tried to tell her that she needed to make sure to listen to when somebody wants. She told me that I didn’t tell her I wanted it to go after we eat, which would be kind of stupid anyone with common sense would know, they’re gonna order something and then sit there and let it get cold while they eat their meal. She got rude with me so I told her well. She just lost out on a tip. We had actually planned on leaving a rather large tip because we experienced some good luck and wanted to pass it on. She then told me that if I didn’t want to tip her that I should go to McDonald’s or Taco Bell. I asked her who her manager was and she said that she was the manager. It was also disappointing if she’s the manager that she was allowing to cook to drink beer while working because we physically saw him drinking beer out of a glass beer bottle. Needless to say until management changes hands again we will not be back to this location and we don’t recommend it to anyone else either. The other New Mexican restaurant in town is much better. They just happen to be closed today. Good luck to anybody who has the deal with this Poor excuse...

Pretty good Mexican Restaurant for a small town. Mexican decor and music playing in background. Wait staff shined friendly, with pleasant personality and came to our table often. She was pretty knowledgeable of the menu. Offered some good suggestions. The place was clean but some tables and chairs needed fixed which wouldn't take much effort at all and really help the appearance. A fly was zooming around which was annoying. The chips and salsa were good. Salsa had No heat but more of a cilantro taste, a bit watered down. Wait time on our food was pretty quick. Plates were hot leading me to believe maybe warmed in microwave. Beans were flavorfuly good but they could have upped the Caldo de Tomate in the rice if there was any in it. I think house made hot sause should come with the meals but wasn't offered to us. I didn't see a house specialty but the menu was pretty extensive so that didn't bother me a lot. Tortillas I'm not sure were hand made in house but they were pretty good and I got extra. The food was flavorful. Presented pretty good. Hot and portions were great. Overall a great experience. We recommend this place if your looking for a pretty good mexican meal this place won't...

Terrible - won’t ever go back. Would give no stars if it was an option. We had been there before with no issues. This last time, we ordered, waited 45 minutes, watched three other tables come in, order, receive their food, eat and leave, and we hadn’t gotten our order. When someone in our party asked a different waiter to ask our waitress where our food was. When our waitress came back, she brought just the fajitas, then came back with the other orders for our table. When someone in our party asked if our order maybe got lost, since people who had come in after us received their orders, and she was extremely rude. Said that they were busy and that if we didn’t like it, we could just leave. When we said we would stay and eat, because she had brought our food out, she said “no, you’re leaving!” And she picked up the plates and threw them back on the table. When we asked to see the manager, she told us she was the manager and that we needed to leave. We have since attempted to contact the owner and they have not returned our call. Very concerning if this waitress was the manager, if she treats her customers that way, how does she treat...
