Starbucks — Restaurant in West Des Moines

I ordered an iced flat white. They charged me for an iced flat white. My girlfriend got her cold brew and we waited for a good 5 minutes before they gave me some sort of lemonade drink. When we told what I ordered they just said their espresso maker was down. I didn’t quite hear them so I asked them again what they said to which the taller kid with curly hair aggressively with a raised voice repeated himself. They didn’t apologize. The girl working just made me something random instead of asking me if I wanted something different. How was I suppose to know their espresso machine was down? They suck....

This barista (sorry didn't get her name) made perfect foam/froth and my breve latte was not scorched, like they so often are. I told this young lady that I like the froth and she said she does, too. That's a good sign right there! So she made me a perfect latte, and I know bec we used to own several coffee shops in Portland, OR. There was no line bec it was around 2 pm. Bought a cold foam cold brew and discovered, as I was already driving away from the hyvee, the drink was a absolutely terrible. The coffee didnt even taste like cold brew, it had an unpleasant burnt, skunky aftertaste and was bitter as if they just gave me the leftover over-brewed morning reject coffee.
